I called to make an appointment and was advised that as I had flu symptoms I needed to complete a swab test to ensure I did not have Covid before attending the centre. If I did test positive for Covid I could do a Telehealth appointment, I asked the receptionist if I could do a Telehealth appointment as I have flu symptoms she said no I have to do the test first. The receptionist made an appointment for 3PM that would be in person or on Telehealth depending the outcome of the swab test. I went to the chemist and spent $12.99 on a swab test - it came out with positive for Influenza A. With this information I called and spoke to the same receptionist she said I could do a Telehealth appointment which would occur at the pre booked time of 3PM. I checked the centre had the right phone number - they did and waited to be called.nBy 330 I had not received a call so I called the centre. A different receptionist was working and advised there was no appointment booked. I explained that I was booked in for a Telehealth appointment and she said she would book me in with the Dr for later in the afternoon. I called back at 5:05PM to confirm the Telehealth appointment and I was assured the Dr had been advised of the appointment. I called again at 5:52 as the centre closes at 6PM to enquire about the appointment. I was again told the Dr would call.nIt is now 6PM and the centre has closed and I have not received a phone call.nI have had previous positive experiences with GP’s and receptionist staff however this was a terrible experience. When people are accessing healthcare they are typically unwell or injured and this level of mucking around is unhelpful. I like to support brick and mortar businesses however I will now be using 13SICK to not have to deal with this mess. Disappointing.
I’ve been seeing Ricky for Physio for the past month and he is great! He’s very thorough in his work. He takes the time to listen to my concerns and to explain my ongoing treatment. I’ve felt a significant improvement in my ankle since starting my physio treatment with Ricky.nI highly recommend seeing Ricky for physio.
I have seen a great improvement in the centre over time and feel happy with these improvements. I had to wait nearly an hour, but that is fine. The doctor is super amazing. If that is the time needed for Dr Lupisan to do a thorough job, that is fine. The only thing I could suggest is maybe a message telling how long the wait is for your doctor.
We are really lucky to have an experienced, knowledgeable doctor like Dr Singh up in the mountains. He takes the time to listen and shows care for your health concerns. He’s also really invested in diagnosing and finding a solution for you, and explains what might be happening. A rare gem of a doctor!
Drs are good, especially Dr. Singh5stars.nnBut if your appointment is booked for 8am, reception staff won’t arrive till 8 or after to open up the building, so appointment isn’t on time. And because no one is in the office earlier, there is no one to call patients to inform them their appointment is cancelled due to Dr calling in sick. So you turn up for no reason.nnHaving a staff member to be in an hour earlier than patients of a morning would be much more professional and assist with the smooth running of everyone’s day.nnUnfortunately the older lady receptionist is always rude. No smile, nor pleasantries, just blunt. ‘Want do you want attitude’ which isn’t the best at any place/ time, but particularly when you’re usually there because you’re feeing unwell or vulnerable.
