I've had a few mixed experienced here. Tried to pay for my ex-boyfriend here once, because I took him out to get biltong, and didn't want to take him out as a surprise, and then make him pay. It was under the amount that I could use my card for, so he ended up paying for it with cash. The trainee behind the counter abruptly asserted to me, "your girlfriend knows whats up!". I thought this was super inappropriate. However, I haven't seen her there since. Every other staff member there have been quite nice. My ex-boyfriend says it is the best biltong on the Gold Coast though, so that information might help someone.

For the very best biltong of different flavours and cuts, this shop is the very best that we have come across. They have different types of South African foods and alcohol. Their koeksisters are delicious.

Bought several different lots of lollies/sweets Koeksisters and Boerewors. Lollies were all old and stale, not nice. The Koeksisters were just like playdoh soaked in barely any syrup. Even tried to warm them up to see if that helped, Nope. Just heavy doughy nonsense. And as to the Boerewors, what a joke that was. Yes there was a resemblance of flavour, however they must have used the cheapest fattiest meat possible. Huge amount of fat exuded and the sausages ended up 1/3 the wide they were originally. Rubbish.

Bought two packs of boerewors for my family tonight. It was so full of water it wouldn't even fry. Wish I could post a photo, must be almost a litre that drained off from two packs. This is a really nasty way of adding to your bottom line guys. What a rip off
