This has got to be the worst spotlight I have ever been to, there was so many staff there yesterday and all staff when asked questions acted like it was such a hasstle to help you. They stock under the wrong marked prices and when you ask them to check they spend 20 minutes holding everyone else up in line to get the price. I left and sat in the car for about 20 minutes in awe of their stupidity and fulfilling my order online.

We spent about 20 minutes deciding on some fabric to buy. We went to the counter to purchase the remainder of the roll (no cutting required). We were told very rudely by the woman at the counter that she wouldn't be able to serve us for at least 15 minutes because she was processing an exchange (not that we knew what that meant). There was no one else waiting at the counter. When we asked if we could go to another counter, she replied 'Sure you can go over to that counter if you want but there will be no one there to help you'. We gave up on buying the fabric and left the store. While we were there we witnessed two other staff members failing to help another customer who was looking for sewing needles. One told him to go and ask someone else as she was busy, and the second was very rude to him and said 'go and ask someone else sir because I don't know'. Very bad customer service.

The ladies in the material department seem desperately unhappy! It wasn't that they were deliberately rude. They seem to be completely clueless with respect to the negative vibes that they are emitting. One would think that they all hate each other in there, and wake up with a clear intent to make each-other's working life as miserable as possible. Their attitudes sharply contrast with a guy from a different department who personally walked me over to section of the store that I required. This was different to the 'over there' - pointing into space "directions" provided by the ladies IN the material department. Ladies, if you don't like your jobs - perhaps its time to move on????

It's a busy place however one of the assistants, Stella, is always helpful and very courteous. I'm writing this review because the last time I was there, she volunteered to help me to my car with the blinds I had just purchased. She really is first class and could teach a class on customer service. Thanks Stella!
