I went In to get netting curtains for 3 windows.if I was a member it would of cost $50-$60 for what I needed. Me not being a member was charged $106.86. The woman was helpful but let me know if I become a member I can get discounts. It won't activate until 24 hours after the purchase. Bit late in telling me this info after I made the payment. I still haven't subscribed yet but they did have some good deals on for members. I'll let you know what happens
Busy due to sales and pre mothers day. Lots of pricing was missing and staff members were unhelpful when I first entered store. Had to chase up another price and some information. Staff member more helpful and assisted well. Even had someone chase me down with a trolley/ basket as I had many items. Prices were great and with all discounts, saved nearly $300.
This store is wonderful....clean and tidy....one of the best Spotlight stores around. Lee, the sales person in the fabric section took a lot of time helping me select batting for a quilt, took an interest in my project and even remembered me from my last visit. Impressed.
A good place to buy all your fabrics, homewares, crafts and party supplies. You can save few dollars if you become their member for free, online. However, I find some of the same items found here are expensive than the other stores like BigW, Kmart.
Just dropping a comment about this particular Spotlight store. Easy to move around compared to most stores we have been in. Staff could be seen for help and were friendly. Did not see a group anywhere just having a chat. Service was fantastic.
Spotlight has a lot of offers for VIP members but don't let this worry you, it's easy to join any time - you can do it as you check out - and then you only need to quote your phone number in future so no card to remember to carry. I bought some very cheap Mode sheets, they are thin poly cotton as the packet says which is good for the price and the sheet sizes are generous - deep pocket on the fitted sheet and loads of "tuck in" length on the flat sheet. I've had great buys on frypans that I use every day and if I need fabric, fasteners, thread etc I am very likely to get it. My custom made inexpensive Venetian blinds have lasted 25 years. The customers trash the place, so there are things out of place. My only issue is that some things aren't priced - hard to tell if this is people trashing the displays or what.
So expensive. Whatever you need is always out of stock. There is a nice fabric shop just around the corner which has better fabrics at honest prices and good staff. Go there instead!
Has alot of sewing and knitting stuff here good stuff. Pricey but you get what you pay for. Staff are kind here to.
Always has what I need. Love the fabrics especially as well as the wool. The ladies at the fabric counter are always patient and helpful. One of my favorite shops where I spend too much money!!
The worst customer service in the material/fabric aisle. You can stand there for half an hour and ring the bell there is no staff or anyone for assistance. So many times I have walked out as there is no one that you can get info from.
