Great place. Member discount is also good. Fabric is reasonable prices also. I always buy fabric from spotlight. I didn’t buy any baking stuff from here but yes I had a look they are really good and especially different patterns of crockery and mugs .
Be aware when purchasing a sewing machine, to read their returns policy as I was told. I purchased one last week, then found someone to service my more sturdy sewing machine with case. I went to return the unwanted sewing machine, unopened with receipt and was knocked back. I wasn't about to lug that unwanted machine out, so told them to keep it. The person yelled after me that it would be kept in their office and I would never get my money back. If I can avoid it, I will never shop at Spotlight again. Definitely not Bunnings and most other places as far as returns goes.
Went to Joondalup before where the lady said I couldn’t get 2x3m cut of cream sheers and they didn’t have enough metres in stock however when I went to innaloo Luca was very helpful and managed to get me the 2 sheets and find the piece I was looking for however the label itself on the material had grey not cream which was very confusing and lucky he scanned it and checked as the barcode number matched what was on the website. Luca was top class throughout and world class customer service.
I like this shop. I have started knitting and crochet so I buy yarns a lot. There are huge range of yarns and if they are on sale, prices are good.nCar parkings are usually ok in weekdays but get very busy on weekends and during big sales.nStaff are kind and friendly st the counters. But there is always long ques. I wish they have self-service counters or more staff to serve customers.
One of the retail attendants was extremely rude as she was walking passed us, a water bottle dropped off the shelf no where near where we were standing so it was not caused by us but she yelled out to my sister to pick it up, when my sister said it wasn’t her that dropped it she said “that’s fine but means I don’t have to pick it up”. Honestly I work in customer service and although this seems little and petty, the way she spoke to us was unprofessional so I can’t even imagine how she treats her fellow co workers, I hope she sees this next time and improves the attitude.nnOn a plus note Marco that served us at the till was lovely!!
