Good place lots of things, quite expensive compared to other stores.
Not a good experience for me. Was doing a big shop so had a trolley & the aisles are so narrow you could hardly wheel the trolley down them, lookout whe someone is coming down the same aisle with a trolley !!!
This Spotlight Store is the worst Spotlight I have shopped in, TOO much on shelves especially material. Either Large Trollies or Steps left in isles. Accident waiting to happen As well as a FIRE HAZARD.
Too much stuff crammed in to a small space. Think it is a health and safety risk. Not enough room to move much less free from a fire. Consider reducing some lines or go to a bigger space. Also needed a bit of a tidy up.
Huge variety of stock so thankfully staff are ready and willing to show location of specific items.
Best prices on a lot of sewing machines and overlockers, being a member gets extra $$ off. Craft materials range is pretty good
Appalling service. 4 30pm Fri arvo...could not find a sales person. Eventually a lady from dress fabrics answered my call. Could not give me info on upholstery fabrics and very apologetic. What shocking management .. in a store that trades in fabrics - to have no trained/specialised staff, in fact ... inadequate staff levels full stop. Shame on inadequate management
The store has a good variety but the store is way to small to feel comfortable shopping. It's a little daunting walking through because its too small and overloaded with stuff... Every isle is only wide enough for 1 trolley if you're lucky. Service can be a little slow, a nice greeting and a smile wouldn't hurt either which has been non existent the last few visits.
Doesn't have what I am after. Ordering department needs to pull their socks up....lagging behind big time when it comes to tools fiskars hand punches for crafting. Overall, good place to shop with a variety of crafting products. Although prices can be a bit steep when not on special.
My husband went into Spotlight not knowing much about sewing machines, asked for help. Staff member was more concerned about stocking shelves then customer service. And asked him to move so she could stack the shelf. When asked about different sewing machines staff member said we are learning as we go and went on stacking the shelves with back towards him not offering any more assistace .
