When I arrived at Furnishing Fabrics, no other staff were available to help, and I was honestly on the verge of walking out and taking my business elsewhere. But Jack stepped in and completely transformed the experience from frustration to absolute relief.nnHe was warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable from the moment he greeted me. Nothing was too much trouble — he listened carefully, guided me through options, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. His patience, attention to detail, and genuine care for getting it right for the customer are rare qualities these days.nnWhat impressed me most was how far he went above and beyond. He didn’t rush, he didn’t push, and he didn’t give me the usual scripted service. Instead, he offered real support, real solutions, and real customer care. It’s the kind of service that makes you feel valued rather than just another sale.nnJack is the sole reason I will come back. He is a true asset to Furnishing Fabrics and deserves full recognition for the exceptional service he provides.
I hadn’t been into a Spotlight for decades since I went with my mum as a kid and tried it out a couple of weeks ago. I’ve been back twice since because suddenly I love looking through all of the hobbies and craft goods. They also had a great sale on frames which brought me back again. This spotlight seems to always be bright, pretty tidy, and the staff have been pleasant to engage with.
Went to check out at counter 8 and served by AMELIA.nI was on line and placed my items down on the bench and she rudely said that she is still serving the 2 ladies with a bad stare. :nShe could have said it in a nice manner as i was just waiting in line.nThe two women were just inquiring on the price of some items.nJust a comment that people in sales should be trained how to deal with customers with KINDNESS and GENTLENESS .nSpotlight is supposed to be a “happy place” for crafters but staff like her wouldn't be my go to place.nSadly it reflects the image and management of Spotlight :
Great store with good stock and helpful staff. Parking is easy with nearby cafes and other stores to make a consolidated trip easy. The store is generally tidy although some restocking can cause isles to be a bit crowded for a pram.
I had a very last minute urgent project to finish and needed a very specific coloured balloon. The staff were so helpful and patient, as they showed me multiple options. Highly recommend and thanks to Ally and Kat who were my heroes that day!
