Supplement store is very overpriced. $60 more compared to what I usually pay for a tub of international protein powder is ridiculous. Could have turned me into a regular with any sort of reasonable price. Won’t be going back to that part at least.
This place has everything! Shoe staff were great and helped find me comfortable runners. I have never seen so many weights and boxing equipment! All staff were very nice and seemed to be experts in their area. I have been searching for a good skipping rope and finally found one!
1 StarnnVery disappointing experience this morning at Sporty’s Warehouse.nnAfter my gym session I felt a small tear in my left elbow and stopped by the store to buy a compression sleeve. I looked through the range they had available small, medium, large and extra large, but none of them fitted snug enough. I then asked a staff member, Troy, for some advice. He explained the options and I thanked him and said I would likely need to find another store that stocked a longer style compression sleeve.nnAs I was leaving the store, Troy approached me holding a black box and asked where the contents from inside it were. I was confused by the question. He then asked to look inside my Louis Vuitton body bag and implied that I may have taken something from the box.nnHe then asked me to show him down my underpants to confirm that no items had been taken. I complied in an attempt to clear the situation, however the interaction was extremely uncomfortable and embarrassing.nnAfterwards the situation was brushed off casually, but by that stage the experience had already been very upsetting.nnI have been shopping at this store for around 26 years and have never experienced anything like this. Over the years we have purchased a wide range of items here including hunting and ammunition supplies, our daughter’s tennis equipment, family shoes, and much of the equipment used in our home gym. Because of this long history and loyalty to the store, being treated with suspicion while simply trying to purchase a compression sleeve that costs $79 was very disappointing.nnSituations like this should be handled more professionally and respectfully.nnUnfortunately this experience has put us off returning.nnShame on you Troyn1
5 stars for the ball sport and weight section staff, lovely people. The bald guy in the supplement store told off and swore at my son 9 who was bouncing a basketball I'd just purchased for him, he also has ADHD so it's hard for him to hold in his excitement over something new. So this drives my review down a few stars, there is better ways to ask a kid not to do something.
Purchased GM junior cricket bat 24/12/24.nnFantastic customer service - came in looking for a ball to throw on the beach, walked out with a brand new stick of English willow for my cricket mad son.nnWade & his family are all cricketers, so he knew straight away what we needed:nnNeed a mallet to check the ping - no worries. Scales to measure weight - no worries. Cover to protect the bat for the trip back to Cairns - no worries. Little things that make a difference.nnAll the support but no pressure at all. Brilliant.nnGreat selection of kit - store seems like a bit of a hidden gem. Will certainly do business again and recommend to all.nnThanks Wade.nnMark & Ollie.
