My wife and I have made this a regular place to stop and get a coffee. The baristas are usually top notch and know what they are doing. The fresh juices are fantastic too. We have only had food here a few times but have never been disappointed. The prices are standard among local cafes and you can usually see a familiar face when you walk in. I only took 1 star away because a few times when asking for soy we get regular milk instead. But the baristas are always apologetic and make another one in no time. Oh and the muffins are great but there sure isn't a "muffin top" on them. They are as flat as can be. Still taste excellent but they aren't what you would expect out of a large, cafe style muffin.
The first time I went there my 3 year old knocked over a full jug of milk shake. Staff was really friendly n making sure my boy was ok before offering him another milkshake for free! Since then my family has visited the place numerous times and have always enjoyed the food and the relaxing atmosphere. They update their menu all the time so there is always something interesting to choose from. One tip though make sure you park in the basement as the shopping complex management will change you $60 for parking over 20min next to the cafe.
The main reason I like this place is its openness and lack of pretension. It is a suburban cafe that has a range of quite good food at reasonable prices in an environment that one can sit quietly and enjoy company if one is with somebody without being shouted down by the surrounding tables or if you prefer, there are spaces we can sit quietly read a newspaper, do your email et cetera. The staff are often run off their feet because of usually unexpected spurts in customer numbers, but no matter how hard they are working, they always have a smile and they always make you feel welcome. There is a good variety of coffee available, and I have never had one that I didn't like and I've never sent one back and believe me I am picky about my coffee. It's also an extremely good place for a meeting of up to 5 or six people with areas where one can sit and be heard.Highly recommended
We have been going to this cafe every other week for over 4 years, parking in the same spot every time. Today I was given a $65parking fine for parking in carpark outside cafe. Never in all of that time have I noticed any signage, other than 20 mins, but certainly nothing to indicate the fine????? Very very disappointing. Spoon please stand up for your customers!!!
Worst service and the rudest staff every time I have been!!!!! I ordered two single icecream cones and they were both reasonably priced on the menu but the lady had broken the cones and said sorry about that I'll have to give you a different cone instead. When I went to pay I was charged like $24 even though the lady said it would be the same price and my sisters icecream had 3 hairs in it. But the frappés are alright.
Nice relaxed casual dining for breakfast. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Our poached eggs were fresh and the bacon slightly crispy. Will go again.
Had breakfast hdre today. Woman near us sent her food back. Thos should have warned us. Companion ordeted pancakes with banana and l ordered eggs benedict and coffee. Coffee great. Pancakes came with strawberries and syrup ...not banana...ok... not what she ordered but fine. Pancakes thick and leathery and as she ate them turned them over ....burnt black... waitress offered new ones but no refund. My eggs were ok. Bacon tasteless Altogether enough to not return
Good food, coffee took a little while to come out but was impressed with superviser who kept upbeat and helpful with customers even though it was a very busy rush.
Food is good but prices are way to high for what they offer. I believe if they reduced prices yet maintained the same quality they would increase bussisness as apart from prices, staff and all other aspects of the shop is great
Nice trendy place to chill out with friends or grab a coffee, or tea try the sencha next time, very refreshing, great food, free wifi, posters of latest shows and performances from musicians and artists alike on the wall, very popular cafe.
