Very blissful place. Sit and relax in the benches next to the look outs . Have some fish and chips while enjoying amazing ocean view. The torquoise water makes the water look fantastic. It's a good place for selfie lovers. Have seen people doing wedding photo shoot too.
131 Year old, 34 Meters tall, 136 steps to climb. This 131 year old lighthouse is a must visit if you are around the area. We recently took the Aireys Inlet lighthouse tour and was very happy with the experience. The tour guide was knowledgeable, warm and friendly, and explained to us all the untold stories behind it. The views from the top of the lighthouse were absolutely stunning. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is in the area and wants to learn more about the history of the lighthouse and the surrounding area. The tour is a great way to spend an hour and get some fresh air and exercise while taking in the beautiful scenery. Overall, we had a wonderful time on the tour and would recommend to others. PS. Take your own time and read all the small stories and titbits posted around the lighthouse walls.
A beautiful place to visit. Lighthouse is very impressive and if you wish to tour inside it costs $10. A cafe is nearby if you wish for a meal and coffee. Tracks from the lighthouse lead to very scenic rock and sea views. Good for a photo. The carpark is a bit small though.
Safe stairs to climb to the top, 6 year old son managed easily. Great views as expected! There is a nice cafe on-site also.
Not sure why the split point lighthouse becomes a company of tours. Anyway, we came here as first stop when landed from plane. Long drive from Melbourne toward Apollo bay. Stop by this lighthouse to have some pictures taken. A short walk from the carpark and mostly closed alrinf 3pm. Walk around to the surrounding park to have a great biew of the ocean. Nice contrasting the sky, ocean and park! Lovely place for you to spend 45mins to hike around.
Very beautiful place to visit. Different view and sceneries. I would highly recommend to go and spend time with you family
$10 for a self-guided tour. You can purchase online or pay by cash or card at the site. Walk to the top of the lighthouse and take in the view. You can stay as long as you like. Lots of memorabilia and interesting facts line the inside walls of the lighthouse. A fantastic view of Aireys Inlet, Fairhaven and the Great Ocean Road. We really enjoyed. I hear you can’t bring children under five.
The lighthouse and tour are well worth the $10, the views from the top are amazing and if you're scared of heights like me, there are bars on the lighthouse for you to hang on to as well as railings.
Amazing workmanship. Fantastic 360° views. Plenty of parking and short walk to lighthouse. Short walks many lookouts - shoes with good grips recommended.
