There's some maintenance on a bridge until end of June 2024, so the full walk is not accessible, but the city planned a detour that is well indicated!nGood walk, with a lot of steps but it's not very difficult so there's no need to be extra fit to do it.nThere are beautiful viewpoints all the way, and a few first nations engravings. Tp be honest some of those engravings have been damaged and/or covered by rain and mud, but there are boards with drawings to ensure you can spot them. The smallest ones are well preserved as the engraving lines are deeper.nGood walk. Take a bottle of water and a small snack!
Embark on an unforgettable adventure along this scenic walking track that offers an abundance of breathtaking vistas, from the mesmerizing ocean views to the serene bushland and sandy shores.nA delightful side track leading to a picturesque lighthouse, adding an extra dash of charm to your journey. Whether you opt for a rejuvenating coffee break in Manly or Spit, both promise a delightful start or end to your trek.nKeep in mind, the total journey including the side track is over 15km—but trust me, it's worth every step. Overall, this track comes highly recommended for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.
I'd park at Ellery's Punt Reserve and walk from there. I parked on the other side of the bridge at about 6 bucks an hour, and the bridge is ofcourse quite busy and loud.nThe walk itself is beautiful and very easy. I wouldn't take a pram but a 5yo wouldn't have any trouble walking. I spotted plenty of older people flying through it too. There are lots of places to stop and rest, all with beautiful panoramas.
Since this trail is a grade 3 track level. You need to have a little experience in bushwalking. The trail is good and well maintained. A lot of beaches to rest and swim. Don't forget to bring your swimwear. Also bring snacks and a lot of water!!!
Very nice hike, starting point 20minutes far from Sydney city centre. Different enviroments forest, bays, beaches with many different species of flora and fauna that you can see! A lot of lookout for Great pictures!nThe path is well manteined and it’s difficult to get lost!nPossibility to come back by ferry directy to Circular Quay! Hightly Recommended!
