Super easy short wait directed on. Supprised by the amenities on board. Had a twin portal cabin. Woke up once or twice and it seemed rough outside but slept well
The night sail from Devonport was as calm as possible. The military-style operation of loading and unloading was flawless.nThe on-board buffet meal was great value and delicious.nOur dog was well cared for in a crate so all in all very happy.nThen to cap it all, a beautiful sunrise.
The staff there are top-notch! They're super professional and always make sure things run smoothly. The cafe staff are quick and friendly, and the food is great. Can't go wrong with a hot cup of coffee either! I highly recommend you grab a bite and a drink while you wait to board the ship.
i had a rough trip and a peaceful calm trip with it. have to say, the nature is really amazing if anyone wants to take the ship to tas, needs to consider health condition with ship-sick. both trips were in the daytime in summer, but i may suggest one trip in the night time of summer, the moon view might be amazing from ship. and it will be nice just sleep and arrive to tas or back to geelong.
The staff were great. I was on SOT 2 travelling G-D, day trip. Pretty calm day. Weekday so relatively quiet most kids up on Deck 10. Food was good.nSpecial mention of great staff in pantry; Nathan & Sam, Tammy with a great welcoming nature and Hamish on reception, happy to help. Definitely travel with them again.nTake your water bottle - you can refill free filtered water on board. Take a small pillow - you’ll get tired.nMy wait time was due to my arrival time.
