UBER EATed. Dinner for two. Ordered the Chicken Makhani, Coconut Naan, Plain Naan and a Saffron Rice. Total around $30 delivered. We didn't finished and found this was pretty good value and tasted great too. The Chicken Makhani, is like a Butter chicken, sweet and went great with the rice. Personally I prefer the coconut naan, it's sweet to the taste and filling too. Delivery time was around 30mins, this was when they just opened, so the longer wait was kind of expected. By the way, this was the second time I ordered from this place, so would recommend this combo is anyone is craving for an Indian fix for dinner. :
HORRIBLE and RUDE. I ordered a curry and 3 naan via Uber Eats, and had specifically asked for the naans to be made soft. When I received my order, I saw that I had BURNT NAAN refer attached photo. So I called the restaurant to raise this issue. And I was appalled by the treatment I got on the phone. :/ First, I was told by one of the staff members, that the chef is new, which is why the naans got burnt. I wasn't convinced by that, but before I could even ask for a resolution, the staff member HUNG UP ON ME. And DID NOT even APOLOGIZE. That was quite frustrating, so I called up again. I believe this time the owner/manager answered. She was even more RUDE. First, she said that it was burnt because they don't have an electric tandoor, but a charcoal tandoor. And apparently the naan gets burnt in that. I argued that it doesn't change the fact that the naan is not edible. To that, she responded that they were "busy", and that there were 50 other people in the restaurant. She even asked me 'HAVE I MADE NAAN IN MY LIFE'. I was appalled to hear that, and I said that I haven't made but I have eaten naan before, and it is not supposed to be burnt like this. After that, I hung up the phone. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, EVER!
I've enjoyed a variety of dishes here over the last few months. Great spices and although the curries are tempered you can ask for them to be hot. Service is also warm and friendly. Definitely recommend if you like Indian cuisine.
Very pleasant quiet atmosphere, the exciting aromas as you entered gave promise for a tasty experience. We were not disappointed our meal arrived presented in brass bowls, the food was authentic and abundant. Everything was clean, the tables presented in white and the bathroom facilities were spotless. We enjoyed the Spirit of India very much.
We went there for our birthday dinner and asked for recommendation for veg curry. They recommended a Potato Cauliflower curry which we ordered along with Dal Tadka, Mushroom starter and Garlic Naan. And I am sad to say the best thing among them was Garlic Naan. The Curry was plain with big chunks of potatoes and cauliflower. And the Dal Tadka had no Tadka, it was just plain cold dal. The Mushroom starter was bit okay for a restaurant style dish. No issues with Naan. Had a high expectation as we had tasted some good food from their catering team.
Tried ordered a takeaway. Phone never gets answered, diverts to a lady who is 'not working tonight'. Ordered thru uber eats instead so there goes their profit margin! Food was very nice when it arrived though have to say
Quiet atmosphere and plenty of space for small or large groups. The food is consistently of a good standard, prices moderate plus BYO is a bonus.
Very disappointing. Placed a delivery order and waited 45 minutes, only to be informed that they have accidentally given our order to someone else. Will not be counting on them for dinner again.
Quite nice restaurant with economical rates as compared to other restaurants in/around city..good food, buffet, service and ambience as well..pretty spacious for a small gathering or function..we've had several family functions over here and almost all the guests were so happy that few of them book their upcoming functions straightaway..
Great Indian Food, Great Ambience, Great Staff, Mid-Range Prices; Reasonable Drinks Selection including Indian Beer ......
