We went to spirit house for a cooking class and we had lots of fun. The dishes they taught us were amazing. Chef Simon was fun and friendly even though we didn’t do much actual cooking but still had fun. We will definitely come back again.
Amazing culinary experience. Everything was absolutely delicious and service was outstanding. John was very polite, knowledgeable and professional. We really enjoyed our Lunch and the Location is stunning. My favourite was the coconut salmon soup and the lamb. Highly recommended!
Myself and my wife have been looking forward to this experience for a long time and we were not disappointed. Kelly was our instructing chef - he was amazing! As a presenter he was engaging, informative and entertaining and made sure everyone got involved. He was also an excellent teacher - we learnt heaps! The preparation and cooking was great fun and gave a real insight into how much goes into putting together a restaurant menu. The end product was delicious and it was satisfying knowing we'd all contributed to an amazing spread. We did the "Restaurant Classics" class which included Lemongrass & Coconut Soup with Tea Smoked Salmon and Mushrooms, Caramelised Pork Belly with Green Mango salad and Nahm Jim Dressing, Red Curry Duck with Lychee & Thai Badil red curry paste also made from scratch and Whole Crispy Fish with Three Flavoured Tamarind Sauce. All dishes were amazing, and it was great to be able to enjoy some lovely wines and talk about our day. The restaurant and school are set in a beautiful and secluded garden location. A truly special experience and one I cannot recommend highly enough. We will definitely be back!
Whilst the food was exceptional in both presentation and taste, it was the staff who went above and beyond to make our time here a memorable experience! Tropical gardens and lighting add to the ambience. We will be back!!

Beautiful food at a beautiful place. You feel truly relaxed here and happy to hang around. Cocktails were divine.
Had my birthday dinner here to celebrate. Have heard wonderful things about this restaurant, everybody saying it’s the best food they have had in their life. I must say, we were underwhelmed. Went for the larger banquet to try more of the food, which ended up probably being the right move as there were a couple dishes that either my partner or I did not like. For $134 each banquet + a cocktail I would not say it’s worth the money. Our waitress was lovely and so were the staff. When the food is all spicy, waiting a whole course for a water refill is pretty average in my opinion, I could just be being picky. But overall I would not necessarily recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

Having booked several months ago became quite concerned at the last months reviews. Everything we had was exceptional the food is next level and the wine list truly allows you to explore by the glass… ignore the January reviews whatever was wrong has truly been fixed at the end of February
Had my husbands birthday dinner here to celebrate this week. Have had a wonderful experience at this restaurant 15 years ago, everybody saying it’s the best food they have had in their life. I must say, we were underwhelmed. Went for the larger banquet to try more of the food, which ended up probably being the right move as the portion sizes were couple mouthfuls on each plate. The Main serve of Lamb backstrap was 50 grams at best 2 mouthfuls approx was cold, with no Veges or salad available to be ordered, it was more an amuse bouche sampler and Cost $50 alone. For $134 each banquet + a coke I would not say it’s worth the money. We left hungry after 4 Courses. Our waitress was lovely and so were the staff. We wont be back unless they offer to us to try again. Respond to this review.
