We needed India Gate rice. We purchased a bag from Spicy World and when we emptied the bag out into our storage container, hundreds of weevils came to the top. The expiry date was for 2026! Not good enough!! This is the second time that we have purchased from them and have had the same problem.
Bought these products along with some other lentils and rice. These smell disgusting when opened. When tried to discuss the issue over the phone, the teller was nasty, arrogant, rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. Had no curtesy to talk or listen and was shouting over the phone.nNever going back again to waste any of my hard earned dollars here.nnAdded: See now you are writing back. Too late and too bad, you should have started this conversation by listening and by being fair. Half of the your explanation is made up, assumption and lie.nNo wonder you have such a poor reviews.nNo need to be keyboard warrior.nThe way you are ripping people off is very evident from your rating. Be careful nThe grocery people; the Spicy World #Spicyworld is selling the food products under promotional or under special discount on the weekends are actually selling expired products. You can clearly see that the actual informations are covered underneath their labels.nOn approaching the store person at Malaga, they were like ITS BEST BEFORE DATE, NOT EXPIRED.nThese big giants are running a food business and they don’t actually know the difference between best before date and already expired products.nDo you people think they are doing mischief or no? If anything goes wrong with our health who will be the responsible? Are you happy to take risk of your loved ones health just for their sake?
