Ordered a butter chicken off Uber eats, cost $28 dollars not including delivery. I thought it must be a pretty large serving, it came in a small take away container barely enough for one person. Average tasting, very poor value for money. Wouldn’t recommend, won’t be ordering again.
Worst Tandoori Chicken ever made!!! It looked and tested like piece of chicken pulled out from chicken curry and microwaved. Not recommended at all.
Ever since meeting the owner at the Shop 6/53 Esplanade location, we have had nothing but, consistent and remarkable service from the Spicy Bite franchise. The food is always fresh, packed with flavour and wholesome. Their portion sizes are more than reasonable, and they always have new an exciting options on their menu! I recommend to all family and friends looking for a meal that won't disappoint!

felt like Indian.. honestly wish I paid the 30$ to make my own from woolies, instead of three average size pieces of chicken per portion. below average sauce. And to top it off.. I’m now going back to Smithfield to make my own dinner as a $14 dinner from here barely filled my stomach.
Veg Samosa - Nice Crispy, not oily and sprinkle of masala on top was amazing. Dal Tadka - Authentic taste. Tried with few squeeze of fresh lime. Keema Naan - Generous size.
Terrible restaurant.First time trying the Spicy Bite Smithfield.$24 chicken Biriyani. Portion was very small for the price.Rice was very dry.Tasted like eating steamed rice not a Biriyani.Bad customer service.Felt the lady at the counter was very rude,not welcoming customers at all.
I don't know why some people think this place is expensive and not tasty. Very good Indian food. If people think its too expensive then please order straight from the shop. Price is in the curry sauce not how many pieces of chicken are in it.
Ordered mango chicken and rice, got something that looks like baby food with a few bits of chicken and wasn't even mango chicken. Didn't recieve the rice that was ordered either, won't be coming back, not for the price and such poor quality.
Had this for the first ordered through one of the online delivery services. ***Pros - lamb Rogan was tasty and the meat was cooked great! Butter chicken was tasty, thick and chicken was also cooked nicely Garlic Naan was tasty and big ***Cons- Butter chicken had very little chicken in it. I've seen this mentioned before in reviews and it's true. For $25 there was barely any chicken definitely not even enough for 2 people to share even if sharing several dishes together. The butter chicken had more of a tomatoey sauce then your regular butter chicken. It was more of a mild creamy butter chicken with tomato flavour through it. I quite liked it although slightly different to usual but my daughter really wasn't a huge fan. Not oily Overall I would order again as I personally enjoyed the flavours & the meat being cooked properly but it's not something I would order often as it's just too expensive for little meat & certainly wouldn't order it for multiple people as you would need to order so many dishes to fulfill everyone.
