Amazing food! Full of flavour. The samosas are delicious and vegetarian options plentiful. Lovely service with good management and wait staff. The prices are really reasonable too. This is one of my favourite Indian restaurants, albeit I live in Wellington City, I always dine at Spices of India when I'm visiting my dad in the Wairap Food: 5/5
I dine here a few times a month -- just often enough for the proprietor to remember my favorite meal items. I'm always greeted with a smile. I specifically recommend the Mango Chicken and the Lamb Vindaloo, cleaned up with the garlic naan and washed down with a cold Coca-cola. That's my usual order. The dining room is spotlessly clean, and the service is swift, elaborately courteous, and friendly. Prices are very reasonable. Recommended!
Stopped in for a quick bite to eat, the restaurant was quiet which suited us perfectly. We both had butter chicken and Naan bread. Service was quick and everything was hot and fresh. The butter chicken was beautiful and full of flavor and there was the exact right amount of everything! The price point was really reasonable we were very pleased with the whole experience. Absolutely stunning food with great prices. The service is so personal and thoughtful it's almost like being in someone's home not a restaurant. This is one of the cleanest restaurants I have ever been in, this is the place other restaurants should strive to be like in regards to cleanliness. My family loves this place, we highly recommend. You must have the onion bahji.
Lunch is under $10, great selection of food for this price, each dish comes with rice. Non & alcoholic, tea, coffee, fizzy drinks, water on tables Bathroom on site
Ordered on line, pickup time said 45min. Arrived 10min early already ready to pickup. Live 2min from the restaurant and food already cold on the plate before the 45min was up. Don't give a pickup time if you cook it way before it's due for collection or at least let the customer know. Not good.
We planned to go to Koi another restaurant in Masterton last night but it was booked out. As an alternative, we went to Spices of India. It is not a fancy diner, but the food is very reasonably priced considering the food quality and service. We had a chicken and a lamb dish. Both were tender and tasty. We also love naan cooked in Tandoori oven. I would recommend it for an easy meal out with family and friends. Plenty of space inside. Takeaway is also popular.

Spices of India is located on Lincoln Road just off the main drag through Masterton. They served up really good food. Including their child-friendly butter chicken, which was excellent. The surroundings of the restaurant were pleasant, relaxing and vibrantly themed. The service was quick responsive, friendly and helpful. We hardly had to wait at all. The prices were also very good. Overall, by far the best indian meal we have had in a while. I highly recommend this restaurant to all lovers of good quality Indian food.
