Southern Cross Station is one of the main transport hubs in Melbourne and it’s always a really interesting place to pass through. The station is huge and connects regional trains, metro services and the SkyBus to the airport, so there’s always a lot going on. The architecture is also really cool — the wavy roof design makes it stand out compared to most train stations and lets in a lot of natural light.nnInside the station there are plenty of food options, convenience stores and places to grab a quick coffee while waiting for a train. The signage is generally clear and it’s fairly easy to navigate even though the station is quite large. It can get very busy during peak hours, but overall it’s a well organised station and a key part of getting around Melbourne. Definitely one of the most iconic stations in the city.
