They seem to be a popular favourite with locals. The coffee is pretty good, the food although not the cheapest, seems to be of good quality and generous. The menu selection was varied with something for everyone, kid friendly. Recommend trying the waffle. The one I tried was light and fluffy and probably one of the best I've had in a while. There is a decent amount of tables inside, with limited tables and seating outside. But lovely to relax with friends or family outside when the sun is shining. Prompt service, and the staff were friendly. Parking wise, there is on-street parking around, but sometimes hard to find a spot when the cafe is busy!
Love this place! The service is second to none and the food is always delicious! The specials in particular are always unique and incredibly tasty. Today was Buttermilk Waffles standard menu item and Pulled Pork Benny special, we couldn't fault either! Heaps of space with tonnes of room for prams and larger groups. Also available is a selection of gorgeous sweet treats in the cabinet near the door, cupcakes, cookies, brownies, etc. And pretty little posies for sale today too for $9.50 each!
This place is an institution in Lindisfarne and justifiably so. We had eggs benny and Spencers best which is a brioche bun with bacon, fried egg and spinach. The tomato salsa that it comes with, is sensational good coffee, fair prices and great service. Looks like only open until mid afternoon but they start at 7am. Very smooth all round they have a separate takeaway section which is a clever idea.
Can honestly not recommend Spencer's enough. The food is amazing and the staff are always lovely. Brilliant coffee also Kid-friendliness: They have a full kids menu as well as options on the main menu which are suitable for kids. There are also pencils and colouring in pages to keep the occupied
Had a steak sandwich and I loved it. Just few steps away from where I live but didn’t have chance to try. I think I will come back and try other dishes soon.
Lovely atmosphere. Very friendly workers. Fast service but not rushed. Food was very yummy Kid-friendliness: Very friendly and welcoming for children. Colouring pencils and paper were brought to table straight away. Always included children and spoke to them directly. Parking: Parking down side street was easy and not too far to walk
My go to local cafe, average priced food but top notch quality & variety including daily specials . Friendly staff and sunny location also dog friendly. If you're not sure what to get, eggs Benedict is a solid bet Another honorable mention is that this place is often busy however the staff and kitchen seem to always pump out quality food in very reasonable times, usually < 10 minutes. If you're in a rush or don't prefer to eat in they also have take away which is of the same quality.
Really really nice. Very clean restaurant, attentive staff and our lunch was delicious. Simple food very well done. I had the pork pot meatballs cooked in bechamel and my wife had the curry chicken pot. Both were delicious and generous in size. Would highly recommend Spencer's.
Great spot for coffee and cake on the way out of town. Parking out the front and side street, delicious coffee and caramel tart to suit. Thank youFood: 5/5
