Outstanding.nnIt's really hard to find a place that has a unique vibe and great food, but Space Kitchen nailed it. And lovely staff too.nnI was prepared for the cakes to be all looks and no flavour, but the cookie monster was probably the best mousse cake I've had all year.nThe cheese trap cake was also excellent, lemony and not too sweet or dense.nnThe coffee and hot chocolates are also both very good and very large, a rarity in the modern Cafe scene.nnI'll definitely be back again.
Space Kitchen full-service breakfast with extras.nI was in Canberra this morning for a meeting and ate breakfast at Space Kitchen.nI don't usually eat carbohydrates or have consumed much plant food lately. However, this morning, I indulged and enjoyed sautéed mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, and hash browns. I didn't touch the sourdough bread. I also ate four poached eggs, two rashers of bacon, and some hollandaise sauce.nI paid the price later in the day when my irritable bowel syndrome symptoms returned with some vengeance. It was an important lesson.nThat said, I'd probably do it again because the breakfast at Space Kitchen was delicious. The service was quick and friendly, and the use of QR codes for menu selection and payment made the whole breakfast experience efficient and enjoyable.nI highly recommend it.
I visited Space Kitchen after being drawn in by their website images and ordered the Vegan Biscoff Cake. It looked beautiful but was far too sweet for me — like eating sugar cubes. If you love sweet desserts, it’s a good choice, but if you prefer less sweetness, it might not be right for you. I also tried the calamari, which was okay but a bit too sour for my taste.nnOverall, while the food didn’t quite match my preferences, I appreciated the effort and presentation.
We were completely wowed by everything at this cafe. We wouldn’t have changed a thing. From the service to the food freshness, quantity and quality. Wow. Please open up a shop in Sydney!
I think this place is amazing. I've been able to enjoy both brunch and lunch and the options are amazing. The service is super fast and the quality of the food is excellent. I can't wait to continue exploring the menu.
