The lamb and rice is beautifully done here. The lamb has a nice roasted flavour to it.nThe chips are crunchy and soft, which i think is perfect. Salted well too.nThe Pita bread is really soft and delicious with dip. The staff are always attentive when i’ve come in and served with kindness. Music is nice to listen to, can be a little loud; you can still speak perfectly on a phone call in store. Have been served both in person and online and have always been served the amount shown in pictures online or in store.
Went to Souvlaki grill pakenham tonight for the first time, ordered HSP with chicken, and HSP mixed, and Nutella souvlaki’s. Absolutely delicious and good portion sizes.
Souvlaki had stale chips, forgot to add extra meat, and salad was onions only no tomato or cucumber:nnWent there twice, i asked for extra meat, first time the salad was only onions. And the chips were stale, like they had been cooked the day before and reheated.nnSecond time I asked for extra meat and asked for them to put tomatoes and cucumbers in there. Charged me $2 extra for tomatoes and cucumbers. So $20 for a souvlaki with extra meat. And he put 1 single tomato in there and 1 single cucumber. And he forgot the extra meat and I say “forgot” as a euphemism.nnPenny pinchers. Now I know why their store was empty both days at lunch time. The day after I went to dosa hut across the street and they gave me what I actually paid for.nnAlso how do you make a souvlaki so oily? It was drenched in oil both times.
The food here is incredibly fresh—you can really taste the quality in the grilled meats and the vibrant salads. The pita was warm and soft, and everything felt authentic and made-to-order. Beyond the food, the hospitality was excellent. The staff was welcoming and attentive. Highly recommend for great eats and even better service!
I ordered mixed Souvlakia. The chicken meat was ok and but the lamb was very hard to chew. Not a great experience. Sorry guys you need to improve the food quality. The meat should be tender,juicy and moist.
