Southland Medical Centre was established in 1970 and has grown to an eight doctor medical centre that offers a wide range of medical services.
Our aim is to improve your current health and prevent further illness.

Story

As well as general practice we offer onsite psychology, physiotherapy, podiatry, denture clinic, dietitian diabetic nurse educator and practice nurse. A “Melbourne Pathology” blood collection centre is located next door.

Due to our high standards we have been accredited with AGPAL and have been chosen to train doctors who want to specialise in General Practice.

We have a modern comfortable waiting room with free WIFI to entertain adults and children. A large car park is available with a pedestrian ramp to allow easy access to the surgery.

We bulk bill children under 16 years old.

We are open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9 to 7 pm, Wednesday 9 to 6 pm, Friday 9 – 5pm and Saturdays 9 to noon.

I was treated by Dr. Peter Enten. He has a professional, warm and calm manner that made me feel very comfortable. I needed to go to hospital and he monitored my progress to insure successful treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Enten to anyone seeking a professional GP with a warm bedside manner.

As a new patient Dr Peter Enten was incredible. He has a thorough approach with a friendly and professional determiner. What takes him to the next level is his protectiveness and genuine care. In only a few visits he suggested future treatments, lifestyle changes and ongoing checkups to contribute to a healthy future. I highly recommend Dr Enten to anyone looking for a new doctor.

My GP here is fantastic, definitely worth the distance but do the receptionists always have to be so rude? Whenever I call they act as if I've ruined their day by asking to book an appointment.  They're quite nice in person but over the phone they act as if it's their jobs to make you feel unwelcome. Deep sighs, interrupting me mid-sentence, and I can almost hear them rolling their eyes through the phone, just what you need when you're feeling ill. If my GP wasn't as good as she was, it wouldn't be worth it at all.

Though I can't speak English fluently,but the service is patient .i am glad to got my gp doctor here,she is nice and kindness.she is very carefully and patient.
