Excellent service as always. When Dad needs medical care or advice I'm happy to make the trip to Southgate Medical. Dr Fox and all staff at Southgate Medical are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Definitely worthwhile for those who still value having a regular primary care physician.

Poor customer service and bad experience with the doctor regarding giving BCG vaccine to kids. More training should be given to the doctor how to deal with children and parents. On your call you only mentioned that it require special skills to administer bcg but what about doctors rude behaviour towards the children and parent? My local doctor/ GP are much better. We will never recommend this to anyone.
Doctor did not take my illness seriously and “prescribed” me an over the counter medication I had already said wasn’t working. He basically told me there was nothing he could do for me at all and that if I wanted help I should have gone to a hospital
Beware they‘ll charge you $150 for a simple 15 min video consultation with GP to do some referrals. They don’t even say how much they charge, just take your card number and hang up. Doctors are good, but reception staff are rude and slow. This is to say that was the first time I was charged $150 for a video consultation there and no heads-up was given before or after about this price increase. The admin staff just took my card number and hung up. Rude and unprofessional, very disappointing and expensive experience, including the unprofessional way they handle customer complaints.
A very nice medical centre. Helpful receptionist and a good doctor. Just one suggestion, tell me to go for the Covid test 20 mins before the appointment because I had indicated that I had a sore throat when I booked online.
Incredibly poor bedside manner by owner/principal Dr Martin Fox. Initial consult 2 weeks prior for vaccination of infant son. 1. As I entered the consultation room with my child for vaccination, he handed me his business card unsolicited. 2. Before BCG vaccine was administered, I enquired about potential adverse effects or “red flags” to look out for. Dr Fox did not address my question and an information sheet was handed to us by the nurse afterwards. 3. During the intradermal vaccination, he used excessive force to hold my infant son's head into my chest to restrain him. I experienced a bit of pain and discomfort in my ribcage. As a clinician myself, I find this quite alarming. While I don't intend to raise my concerns with AHPRA just yet, Dr Fox ought to be more careful in the future to avoid similar incidents.
