Handy hub for regional trains as well as local. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's all quite open unless it's summer, you will need a warm jacket at least. Hint there is a 7-11 and McDonald's across the road for a cheaper coffee and snack. Hint a small Woolworths upstairs has also a coffee bar and pick a nut bar. With all the usual supermarket lines too. Hint. The Red rooster chicken upstairs is a good meal at a reasonable price. And there is a Hungry Jacks store there too.
WoW So busy. So big. What an experience for me. Such a big busy Station. I haven't been in Melbourne for decades. I still don't like City Traffic. Cars parked over double lines and blocked Pedestrian Crossings V Line was ok. Nice Convient Announcements for every stop. Late departures as well. Not having to rush for the last Train.
One of the modern train stations in Australia, having all facilities and connections across metro, regional and interstate travel. Very convenient location in the CBD. Across the station all major facilities like MacDonald, KFC and other restaurants and big shopping center Spencer outlet center adjacent to the station. The only issue is the pollution of diesel inside the station from Vline train which is very dangerous to travellers health. The architect and authority didn't consider this issue while building this beautiful station.
Busiest train station in Melbourne City. Many train loops there. As it’s in Melbourne Central always crowded. Place clean and convenient.
Nice place to come to when not busy, but extremely crowded during rush hours. Enjoyed the Woolies in the station, picking up some 3 dollar 4 pack of fried chicken and a bottle of water.
