This station is in a great location for the locals, with frequent trains. Services do tend to run early during the day, so always allow a few extra minutes. The station intake doesn’t feel safe as far as its build. The platform is very skinny, bringing passengers very close to trains that are flying past at 100km p/h+. It’s also only got a tiny shelter, making is very unpleasant to be at in winter.

No one else has rated 4 star. Mahyo balances out so this is all star. I am arriving now at South Kensington. It is looks good station.

South Kensington station aka "the ugly step-sister" South Kensington demands 90% of the rail traffic travelling west of melbourne however she can be slightly picky despite her appearance. She'll pick and choose what services she'll take yet give nothing back. This is represented by the lack of signage, outdated rigid benches and perished infrastructure. Recommended general attire when planning to visit South Kensington would be anything grey or frumpy. Avoid happy colours and smiling. In closing this is not a station I would start a commited relationship with.

This has got to be the worst station in Melbourne. The platform is so skinny that if someone is seated you can't walk behind the yellow line. Trains fly past you on both sides and the platforms starts to shake.

great station, parking always available doesn't matter what time of the day you goes there, love this line. get to southern Cross so quick without having it stopping in the city loop
