I have not one complaint about this place, besides annoyed that I didn’t order the breakfast burger as well seen someone order it when I was leaving and wow, it looked insane. The B&L box was amazing, do it your self bagel it paired perfectly with everything on the plate. The Apple and cinnamon hot cakes were too good, I could not stop eating them. Service was so nice and great location.
The place and the atmosphere are good and pleasant, the staff is very friendly. The presentation of the dishes is beautiful but unfortunately the taste is very poor. We ordered two orders of "The Better Than Sex Ramen" and were very disappointed literally water noodles. We didn’t eat it. We also ordered "Chili fried prawns" the taste very simple, to much oil in the fermented chili paste and not spicy... The "Ottoman eggs" and "Ricotta dumplings" acceptable but nothing special.
What a suprise. Quality service by quality people. Food was fantastic, coffee had that beautiful bold flavour with that chocolate finish. Really nice vibe, and tidy lay out. Special thanks to that ginger bloke who served us, a real trooper. I ever in the neighbourhood, worth a visit, truly a locals hideout.
Had an AMAZING time here. The shops only small but I can see how its a pillar of the community. The food and drinks were well presented and delicious, the interior and exterior of the establishment insisted on a welcoming vibe and the hospitality was very good. Left full and even taking some takeaway to go! Highly recommended!
Everything was great; the food, service, staffs, location and vibes. The pricing was reasonable and the food was presented beautifully. Also coffee was so good so we had to takeaway our second one before leaving. Will definitely come back soon and recommend others to visit too!!!Recommended dishesBetter Than Sex Ramen
I’ve visited this cafe few times. The ramen has a lot to offers. One of them is filling you faster than you need to very thick gravy sauce which make it a bit salty for my liking. The pork is soft and delicate, look at those fats. It’s yummy. The chicken sandwich and the panini toast are simple but delicious enough, good to share for hungry tummies. The service is fast and friendly. Inside the space is a bit small but you can choose to sit outdoor which is very relaxing and cozy.
It's sad to see your local places change like this, but it looks like COVID left a mark on L&B. The menu seems twice as short compared to what it used to be, tasty wraps are gone, no dairy free options apart from the orange cake which used to be great before, try it!. The prices are just impossibly high. We took iced coffee and got this. Still there are two things that I can recommend: the cakes wonderful and homemade and the staff lovely people. Is it enough for me to come back? Unfortunately, nope. Dietary restrictions: The menu is pretty short and it's hard to find something dairy free.
Absolutely killer breakfast. Massive portions and loaded full of flavour. The caviar brunch is absolutely killer. Only tweak is to add some kimchi to the scrambled eggs, that spicy and acid would be killer with the rich eggs!Food: 5/5
Fantastic restaurant, service is quick and friendly. Quality coffee with great menu to back it up. Definitely my favourite cafe in coogee. Worth a visit if your in the area. Well done
This is my tenth day of a three month visit to Oz, and It's clear that Aussies must spend of fair proportion of their income in coffee shops such as this one. Having driven passed for those ten days, decided to go for a walk and try this one out. As expected, quite busy, but got a window seat after ordering my usual flat white. Beautifully presented in a quirky cup, it wasn't quite the best I've experienced to date. I like my coffee a bit stronger, but still streets ahead of what you'll be served in the UK. Be paying many more visits to taste some of the amazing food that was being served.
