South Bank is one of my favourite places to spend a slow afternoon.nnIt's perfect for a walk along the river, grabbing an ice cream and soaking up the beautiful city views.nnI found a spot on the grass, stretched out with a good book and  enjoyed the sunshine. It was such a lovely, peaceful way to spend the afternoon.nnWhether you're visiting Brisbane or you're a local looking for somewhere to unwind, South Bank is always worth a visit.

The South Bank Parklands area has so much to offer. From a large range of eateries to Streets Beach. Playgrounds and areas to enjoy live music by the river. You can walk across bridges from the other side, along the river or even enjoy the view from the Ferris Wheel. It's beautiful by day and even prettier at night, as many areas are lit up.

South bank is just a vibe! One road is full of great restaurants which do seem a bit on the pricey end though! There’s a super nice walkway and many places to just sit and enjoy the view, the sun or the vibes. There’s several really nice playgrounds and some pools where you can go swimming! Parking structures are available as on street parking can be very tricky so maybe public transport is the best option! You also get a nice view of the Brisbane skyline! Great place to hang!

A great place to visit in Brisbane! If you’re planning a trip, definitely add this to your itinerary for a relaxing day out. The Brisbane Wheel offers lovely views, the pool is fantastic, and there are plenty of food options to choose from. Hygiene is well maintained, and even the restrooms were clean.nI’d happily rate this place 4/5—perfect for a fun day out with kids! Please note: the kids’ beach area is currently under maintenance and is expected to reopen by the end of August. Apart from that, everything else was great.

What a fabulous area to walk/ run/ bike and explore amazing displays and gardens well planned area for all ages.nThe pool would be amazing in warmer weather
