I have to say that this is one of the best Thai restaurants I had tried. The staff are friendly. The dishes that I ordered: Pad Thai beef, medium hot. Tomyum sea food, medium hot. Papaya salad medium hot Mango sticky rice. These were extremely delicious. You should try.
The Thai traditional boat noodle is sensational. It’s one of the best I have had in Australia. Ginger and Garlic on Green was great too, full of Thai flavour. We only staying here for 1 night and had this meal after Fish and Chips lol. Sonnie’s Definitely 5 stars.
We got a takeaway on the 5th December. It was the worst thai food we have ever had. the massaman beef had no taste at all.potatoes very raw. the pad pong karee had 5 prawns in it.the rest was terrible.we go to Karon beach in thailand every year and we look forward to our next trip in Feb 2023 for a good Thai meal.

Very friendly family run this place. I asked for extra chilli in my Pad Thai so they brought out the whole pot for me to serve myself as much as I want. Very thoughtful.Food: 4/5
BEST THAI IN BALLINA HANDS DOWN. Actually the far north coast. If you feel like satay sticks come here. I’ve been to every restaurant in Ballina for satay sticks and they can never do sauce and is always dry, the only place where you can actually get satay sauce and taste. Thank you for your hospitality sonnies Thai. Will always be coming back
I couldn’t not take photos of the dish because it was fantastic I just ate all before I have time to think about review. Perfect!!! I ordered mild spicy and it was the level of perfection for what i like. Congratulations for that restaurant, the environment it’s also very similar to Thailand style, simple and cozy!
Excellent food, good service and took no time at all to come out. Good value for money, and hit the spot after searching for something quick to eat during lunch. Will be coming back to try more of their menu!
Not over crowded. Clean and oh so tasty. Would recommend for sure. Staff friendly
