Someplace Else

I wish I could say we loved it like the rest of the reviews I see here on Google. However, I wanted to be honest on how we felt after dining here. I was looking forward to trying their food because of all the old reviews I saw but was disappointed after. First, the Jalapeno poppers we've ordered looked and tasted very much like the Jalapeno poppers that was bought from Countdown. I knew it did as it had corn in it which was quite unique. The onion rings looked like the one we frequently get from Countdown as well. Nothing wrong with that but I found it quite pricey for something that was instant and bought from the supermarket. The chicken wings tasted bland and dry with no sauce as well as the onion rings which did not include a tartare sauce or something. The ribs were average but were a bit dry too. The place though looked nice and they had a lovely area for private events. Just wishing they could improve on the food some more.

1st time in this hidden little gem, awesome atmosphere chatting with the locals looking out at the beach. Food was great, we had the Market Fish, and it had great portions, and was reasonably priced. If we weren't heading back to Texas, we'd be back to try the Ribs which appeared to be the most popular choice. The only reason I didn't go full 5 stars is because we wanted vegies with one of the meals, and we weren't able to substitute.

My partner and I really enjoyed our dining experience here, the staff were a pleasure, attentive and friendly. Great location, and the food was delicious. The lamb cutlets were moist and tender, the charcoal ribs melt in the mouth. Highly recommended. Why not go Some place else for a change?

Pretty decent, just go for food from the grill, dont go for any of the fried food they can tailor the fried fish to be grilled instead, which i recommend. We had the Lamb chops, the Pork ribs, Garlic chilli prawns not overly recommended, and the fish.

Awesome food and fair price! For $100, you can pretty much feed a young family with no drinks in 2021! Highly recommend the pork ribs and garlic bread! Smoke chicken is subject to personal taste but I love it too! Steak is ok.

We went there as it’s the closest restaurant to our house and were surprised by the food there. We had never been there before even though it’s just a minute walk away from our house. The food there was so delicious. We loved the chicken wings. Definitely going back for those.

We decided to pop in here for dinner. Delicious food. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend the Moroccan lamb chops. Devine. Loved the tiramisu as well. Wish we'd taken photos of the main meals.

What a food!! What a quality and how they are friendly!! That's absolutly one of the best restaurant that I have ever been. Highly recommend if you wanna eat your meal with love . Keep going guys .

We had a probate function there and they were so incredibly accommodating. Offered us a fixed menu for approx 30 people. Good was out quickly together and delicious. The house speciality char-grilled chicken is devine, as is the calamari. We had a blast. Parking: Lots of on street parking on the recently upgraded Orewa beachfront and surrounding streets

We held our staff Christmas party here on a Friday night, we booked the whole venue and added a DJ too. We choose to have buffet style food which was perfect for our group and the indoor / outdoor flow suited us too. The owner and staff were heaps of fun, mixing cocktails and shooters, we all had a great time and would happily do it all again :
