I don't mind this place. It's a combo fishmonger and fish and chip shop so you can get the standard fish and chip shop food or you could get various types of fish and they will cook it for you at no extra cost. Pretty cool imo. It's cause of this joint that I know what more than two diff types of fish taste like. They're a little more expensive than your average fish and chip joint but not by too much. Also They're one of the few places I've found that have REAL calamari in their calamari rings (battered ones are real, crumbed ones are processed) so that's another plus.

One of the best places in the GV to get your fresh seafood and their burgers are to DIE FOR! I wouldn't go anywhere else. I wouldn't expect any more from a fresh seafood and chippery. The prices are great considering the items are fresh so you get what you pay for. The team are amazing and Dave and Jen do an amazing job. If you are every struggling to decide what to eat, I would not go past Solar Seafoods.

Fresh but expensive. If you want your fish cooked, we had to wait over 30 minutes. Very slow!!
