Great first experience at this new restaurant. Food came out fast, hot n fresh. Prices aren't too bad. Great variety of dishes to choose from. Def coming back soon to try everything out. Seafood n vegetable pancake is great to accompany the squid n pork bulgolgi sizzling dish. Also the variety of sides are fresh and is always topped up by the staff promptly. Highly recommended.
I went to Kim Jinsa a few days ago with my partner, and we couldn’t satisfy more. The taste of Pakimchigreen onion, Kimchi, and pork belly comb was perfect, and so were the noodles and wagyu soybean paste stew. We highly recommend this place to anyone who eats meat.
Confirmed again all one star ratings below are from competition for sure. Food was average and customer service was okay as well. Tidy and clean ambience. Could have done better with more of seasoning, sauce and portion size however enjoyed it.
0 star!!Customer service from the old lady manager was very bad!She didn't give us enough side dishes when I saw that other tables have extra side dishes. She said Chinese waste side dishes so she doesn't give them which I find very discriminative and racist. She lied to us about side dishes. The other staff are friendly. Beef is overpriced and bad. Never coming back again. Please improve customer service and side dishes!! Also there is no special kimchi on the menu.
I saw a lot of these 1 star ratings, but as for my experience - it wasn't too bad. We had the mixed bbq platter, the Wagyu tofu soup and the erupting egg. The three of us were stuffed. Look, I understand where people are coming from when they say some bits weren't top of the notch quality but it really wasn't terrible quality either? I guess people are more annoyed about the price? For the price, people expected a better quality meat? It wasn't terrible but it wasn't amazing either... I think there is a competitive market out there with those all you can eat Korean BBQ... So coming from that perspective, people expected more I guess... Also the service was really good for a Monday. The guy kept coming to our table to check on our meat so we don't overcook it.
The pork rib was good, we usually get pork belly but tried the marinated pork rib here and definitely will come back again to order this. The seafood pancake was also crispy. My mate is a pescatarian and was expecting just to have a soondubu but was surprised that they had grilled sole and mackerel. I have to say it’s been many years since I last saw a kbbq restaurant offer grilled fish so kudos for them on adding to menu. Service was slow though not sure if they were just expecting less people when they opened…hope they hire more staff soon.
I came here with a few friends a couple of weeks back. We weren’t originally going to come here, as there were a lot of negative reviews, but we were in Rhodes Central and it smelled amazing, therefore we decided to give it a try. I am unbelievably glad we did. We chose a range of different beef and pork to cook on the bbq and had the chicken soup and cold noodles as sides. The cold noodles were mesmerisingly delicious - so much so that we ordered another serving. I’m not the biggest meat lover, but what we had was incredibly delicious. We had a few hiccups along the way - there was a mix up in our orders and the bbq wouldn’t light properly to begin wit. However, the customer service was outstanding. All of our issues were resolved quickly and the team serving us were approachable, kind and flexible. If you’ve read a few of the other reviews and you’re not sure whether to eat here or not, I implore to just give it a chance, remembering that people only tend to give a review if they’ve had an extraordinarily good or bad experience.
The staff I guess she is new. She service us not so good.Side sides only few. no bean sprout, no potato, no fish cakes as other restaurants. Only kimchi taste so so and others also not good at all. The only side dish i kind of feel ok is the spicy squid. I asked for same dish. The staff told me "No more.". Meat also just ok. Marinated beef is a bit over sauced. gosh.. The seafood pancake is very thick. No onion, or other vegetables come with meat. Only 1 mushroom and 1 piece of cucumber. No more next time for this restaurant.
A must try place to go for a Korean BBQ dinner,the meat quality is very good and very generous with side dishes. Friendly customer service and very attentive.
Nice space and great service. Highlight was the quality of meat! We ordered wagyu rib finger, wagyu short rib and pork belly.
