Bought a used car, showed the salesman Mac that engine oil is contaminated through dipstick. I was being assured that they can get the oil changed or pay for it later but they stopped responding to my messages and never helped just by giving an excuse that he is not a mechanic. Always check engine oil and air filter or other minute details before buying cars from this place.

You repair a part under warranty and hand the car back with a windscreen cracked almost half way across then deny any damage. When confronted with evidence the damage was caused by your service department you offer a credit on the next service.  You folks are seriously in need of a reality check if you think we will be trusting you with anything ever again.  Avoid. You don't need the dramas and lies this business delivers.

Sold me an absolute lemon. Test drove the car and ran fine. Paid the extra money on a dealership sale thinking I was getting a good engine. Had issues with it the day I drove out. Engine ticking, turbo whining, car wouldn’t even start and ran very rough Took it to an independent mechanic Holden specialist seeing as it’s a Holden to have it diagnosed thinking I’ll just pay for it thinking it’ll be something minor and nearly 5k work of work needed on it. Rang Mac who sold me the car wanting a reimbursement of what I had to pay just to even get the car to drive and he was useless. Was told management didn’t want a bar of it and I’d receive a call back. After the 4th time calling and not getting called back it’s a matter for vcat.

We went their yesterday to purchase a new Havel. The salesman was disinterested in selling us a car. They gave a terrible trade in price and would not negotiate on anything. We have bought 2 cars off them in the past and were disappointed.They mustbe selling enough cars and didn't need the sale.

Has been a longtime since a car dealership / service surprised me so positively.  Smiths replaced a faulty fuel pump for me.  When I called to collect they told me they had accidentally scratched the side.  This was a very small scratch which the staff had to show me.  Ie easily could have said nothing & I would have been non the wiser. From that moment on Jason & Sue were amazing. Clear communication, booked in seamlessly & fixed the scratch.  So honest & such a great job.   Thank you.  Been so long since I’ve been surprised positively with a car service.

The service from the time at looking for a car to now has been amazing. Shane is great and always recognises me and the staff are always friendly and easy to talk to. No issue is to hard for them and always get my car back looking better then how I left it.

Bought a used car from Smith's recently and it was a reasonable experience dealing with Mac and team. Well priced and great condition.  Had one small hiccup so far dealing with an issue, but time will tell how good their after sales service is.

I’ve had two services completed at Smiths Holden and I’m overall very happy with the service that I’ve received. Big thank you to Shane, who has been really helpful, honest and informative. His knowledge and advice has been spot on, I will continue bringing my ute back here in the future.

Terrible overpriced.  Don’t service your car here completely the worst.  Don’t have parts in stock for service you booked in three week prior.  Will not ever go back

Smiths of Geelong is one of the worst mechanics in all of Geelong, wouldn't touch them with a 10ft pole. Have heard from the mechanics there that the cars don't actually get serviced properly, they do the oil but that's about it and then tell you they've done everything else because they're lazy and only in the business for the money. Service advisers have no clue what they're doing and the mechanics just cut corners to get cars out faster
