I use to love love shopping at Smith City , it's gone so downhill and often left frustrated. Old staff was fantastic to deal with now new staff don't really know what they are doing or how to help. Dissatisfied and disappointed. Alot of training needed. One high note Liam amazing..... if you by chance get to see him in Ashburton..... otherwise Timaru so lucky to have him.
I used to love shopping from smiths city. The older store was used to be well stocked up and service was great too. I have no idea what happened now, visted the new west street store after a long time - felt abandoned sort of with no hope for future may be like rest of the countrtly.
My Bissell spot clean broke. I rung up Bissell who were no help at all so took it back to smithscity. They replaced it then and there and did the paper work for me. Very helpful and amazing customer service. I highly recommend buying your appliances from there.b

Lovely staff member helped me out with buying a washing machine and gave me the name of a guy able to install it for me when he found out the Smiths delivery truck was already full. Great service!

Of all the purchases I've made here it has always been in stock or shipped fast. There's great communication between client and salesperson. The premise is always tidy and displays are neat allowing movement around the shop. Always great prices I don't have to shop anywhere else
Excellent service. Would be nice if they had a customer loyalty program so you don't see the product you got today, $500 cheaper the next day. They expect you to pay for price protection. Other firms credit you if the price drops within 30 days of you purchase.
