My partner was discharged from hospital and we went straight to the pharmacy as instructed, asked the staff and the lady said that the prescription is here and told us what it was for. So we waited patiently as customer after customer came in and left with their prescriptions. I finally asked the counter after about 30 minutes of waiting with a patient who was in a lot of pain after surgery, and they said it had been sitting on the counter the whole time we were there and they had called it out prior to our arrival. Frank also asked if we had told the counter if we were there and said these things happen. Well from my experience working in a pharmacy they don't need to happen if the staff know what they are doing. Leaving a controlled drug on the counter for 30 minutes is unheard of and leaving a customer waiting in bandages without asking what they are waiting for is very unprofessional and shouldn't happen at all. Next time we will get our prescription and take it to a pharmacy that functions.
Well-priced medication and such an incredible team at Slade Richmond—super kind, and always willing to help. Frank one of the pharmacists was so patient and helpful. They have a great loyalty program too.
One of worst and rude customer support I seen Every person whom we talked have his own way to work No punctuality on providing medicine Rarely got medicine what committed when we place order. Every time a new drama I believe such staff literally bring down brand value Company Management should read and see how people are struggling with their daily need even they are paying.
Well I see I am not alone in giving this terrible pharmacy another bad review! Today, the most rude as rubbish sales assistant would not serve me at closing time for IVF medication I had pre ordered. Not that I had any idea it was closing time as the pharmacy’s website hours stated 8pm. The assistant said she’d ‘definitely let everyone know over the phone today!’ Only clearly she very much HADN’T… She’d definitely not told ME. She’d closed off the payment gateway and was more interested in going home than either reopening the gateway or looking at any of the myriad options for taking real-time payments - or even cash or direct deposit. Or even offering an apology for the busy day or the failure to communicate opening hours. Nope, none of that! Just a quick call to a pharmacist to confirm not to hand over my order was all that was offered. The worst bit? That would be the ‘tude. I quote: ‘Now MY DEAR, you have to take RESPONSIBILITY for these things. What would you have done if I’d not been here?’ Sorry what? Well… I’d hopefully not have run into such a defensive, care factor, condescending, rude sales assistant - that’s what! Seriously? This is how Slade staff are trained to address customers? Who actually did this assistant think she was?? For the record, I later did my research and discovered that Slade does have an online BPay option up and running and readily available. So what I was met by my ‘assistant’ was very literal laziness. I’m really going to enjoy having to drive the 2-hour round trip again tomorrow. Do avoid this place at all costs if you have a workable alternative. I
Sleeping on the job. Slade pharmacy Richmond really lagging on their job. Service always late. Telling customer, you can collect item on this day but when you go there not even processed yet. Looks like these ppl Needed a good kick in their back sides.
I had a great experience at this pharmacy! I ordered a compounded prescription item over the phone, and my order was taken by a most enthusiastic person. She enthusiastically explained to me the steps I need to take to complete my order. Later, when my order was completed, I received a call from Herman who very professionally gave me counselling on my medication. When I arrived at the pharmacy today, the Staff were very nice. The Pharmacist, Ted, tailored my counselling needs very well, also giving me the right information I needed. Thank you very much for a great experience! You have every reason to believe that this is a great pharmacy, and one I will be visiting more in the future!
Pharmists are good, esp Frank. The front of desk and floor staff not so much. Either zero help or rude. Spent $1000 on prescription meds and lady was questioning why it was so cheap and wasted 20mins of my time checking with Pharmacy, like they trying to squeeze every cent from you. If I could get the stuff from the yellow and red place I would.
I'm a health professional that works in same suburb. I try calling slade for medicine availability and put on hold for over 30 min with patients waiting regularly. A specialist doctor also recently informed me they can't afford to wait on phone for over 20min when trying to procure a specific medicine when they have patients waiting. Just honest feedback....
Trash service. Pharmacists on their phones and having a chat about their weekend plans while customers are standing and waiting to be serviced. No wonder the ratings are so bad. Its unfortunate that there are shortage of workers because we get these kind of people, its the new world order.
You need to ALWAYS be vigilant with this pharmacy. They will overcharge you with extra line items that you did not buy - I think more out of incompetence than malice.
