I reviewed this place on a Saturday night.nGo try this place, it's amazing! Worth the 17kms trip from Brisbane CBD.nWe celebrated a birthday there.nGreat staff, great cafe/kiosk, skate hire, music pumping, all the regular patrons are friendly & accommodating, theme nights, parties, anything you can imagine on rollerskates.nWould I go again? Absolutely I would, & looking forward to going again
My girls had a great time roller skating today. Although my youngest only lasted 20 mins bit overwhelming with all the people .nnThe rink was nice and smooth. Had a good atmosphere.nnThe only issue we found we had, was we could not understand what was being said over the microphone. It wasn't very clear. Hey, it could have just been us but over the noise, it seemed very muffled.nnOther than that, fun was had.
Solid rink. Staff are friendly and helpful, food and drink options are exactly what you would expect for a skate rink. The skate shop has plenty of stock, from entry level gear through to professional level skates and equipment.nnExpect plenty of experienced skaters on a Friday and Saturday night, and more chill sessions on a Saturday and Sunday for slightly more beginner friendly sessions. Either way, the community feel at any session is fantastic with friendly people.nn$30 will get you at least 2 hours of fun, skate hire and something to eat and drink. Hard to go wrong unless you hate having fun
We have had 2 x birth parties at Skate Away Albany Creek and both have been fantastic. I would recommend a Sunday party booking over a Saturday, as Saturday’s are a bit busy. Sunday was way better.nnWe had the kids $28 package. Good value for money. They take care of everything for you. The team is so helpful and lovely. Our host Mia was wonderful. Definitely recommend for a kids party!
Great skating rink for children all ages. We hired a bar for the 2 children, and they really enjoyed skating around the rink. There were lots of games that were played and prizes to be won. It was a bit sad that the pro skaters, who were known by staff, seemed to win most of the games and prizes.
