Fairly priced small truck/van rental. The team were quick and very friendly. A previous customer didn’t bring the vehicle back in time for me to pick up. Ashley quickly sourced another van for me to take! I am very grateful for. Great Service! The van was clean and drove well.
AVOID We scratched the paint on a rear steel panel 30cm x 30cm cosmetic damage. We were upfront and honest when we dropped it off, showed them the issue, signed an incident form, did all the right things. Two days later they charge $4,532 on my credit card. However according to clause 12.6b of the T&Cs the maximum they can charge is $3,300 for this category of damage - still no communication from anyone at Sixt to discuss. Luckily AMEX reversed the charge because we would never have seen that money again. They then issue a bill via email which has a repair quote for exactly $1000 strangely round number for this paint job?. However the repair quote included the cost of damage which was unrelated to the paint scratch, essentially trying to have me pay for separate maintenance. They proceed to try to haggle on the price with me via email. I request to discuss with their legal team as I believe that the $4,532 was a breach of contract - they refuse. I ultimately paid it and moved on. I’d advise that you save yourself the headaches and take your business somewhere else. PS: we paid the premium charge rate for the damage insurance!
We had a booking and planned for a road trip for my parents visiting from abroad on the 27th of December. Despite having a booking, no car was available for us. We were standing and waiting for nearly an hour before being told they don't know what time we could get a car. We cancelled the booking and went to the Melbourne City branch Southern Cross instead and had a much better experience there.

I reserve it on 12:00pm of easter day which I didn’t know . They accept the reservation without telling me they’ll close at 12. I showed up at the office and no one told anything to me, at least they should tell us in the booking. This is a lot of time wasting.
Very polite, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable staff. Car options were as expected but changed/improved when disability was mentioned making access to the vehicle so much easier.
Got the car and no real problems with anything. There was just one point: I told them when picking up the car that I would like to remove a driver we were not having P plates for the second driver. They told me they removed it, but I still got charged for it. Then I was told they made a note that it will come back with the 500$ deposit. I asked again about it when returning the car and apparently no note was made that I would get the extra payment back we are talking about 10$ here, so they said it would be ok now. But now several days later, I only got my deposit returned.
The customer service is amazing. And the system is fast and efficient. I got a new car for my hire and loved it.
