Amazing experience with the staff, especially Harry who went out of his way to assist us. We were the last customer of the day night and we arrived late in Sydney. Harry and team waited for us, and even assisted us with our luggage we had 2 kids with us in tow and out hands were full. The car rental isn’t far away from terminal like the rest of the competitors. The rental prices were reasonable. The shuttle bus drivers to and fro where pleasant as well. All in all, wonderful experience!! I would not hesitate to use them again.
Disappointing service today picking up at the international terminal 26/10/24, 8:45am. We were initially told that the vehicle we had wanted to reserve was not available, and that it had been allocated to another customer arriving.nnThe gentleman behind the counter was then subsequently able to arrange the vehicle we had booked for us which we appreciated. However, he then presented us a rental agreement with the incorrect vehicle linked to it. This was only rectified through a phone call several hours into the rental.nnThe vehicle was cleaned to a very disappointing standard. This is our third time renting a Sixt vehicle and the cleanliness of the vehicles are consistently terrible. The vehicle was presented with hairs and crumbs around the seat, and dirty mirrors / windscreen. If Sixt are contracting out the cleaning work they need to re-evaluate their service provider because the standards of hygiene and cleanliness are far below that of their competitors.
Do not rent here!!! I was told I’d be waiting 10 minutes for a car, an hour later no one seemed to be able to tell me anything. I was sitting around in a crappy lawn chair in the middle of a car park. I told their customer service over the phone that I had to leave for an important engagement and they told me I’d have to go to the desk which is no where near where you pick the car up from to get a refund or get it sorted it out. Absolutely awful customer service, no clarity on what’s going on, they bounce you around like a ping pong ball. Save your time, money and peace and don’t do business with these guys.
Absolutely HORRIBLE! Never again will i use Sixt. I will actively discourage anybody to ever use Sixt. Airport counter was unmanned… waited 45 minutes at terminal 2 then walked over to terminal 3 only to be told I was refused service because I was upsetting the woman at the counter.nShe was rude, incompetent and an awful representative for the company.nMy daughter had an appointment with a neuro surgeon that we subsequently missed.nI will NEVER use Sixt again, neither should any of you ! They do NOT CARE!nAnna Doyle
Waiting with over 20 others over 20min for the transfer bus pickup to get to your rental car. While Budget Rentals like Avis already had 3 transfer cars operating. Not a luxury experience at all. Ver disappointing
