I chose Sixt Car Rental due to their competitive pricing. The check-in process was quick and efficient, taking less than 10 minutes. After-hours return was also very convenient.nnI had booked a Tesla Model 3 to try out both an EV and a Tesla for the first time. Although the exact model wasn’t guaranteed, I was pleasantly surprised to receive the same model and even the same car I had hoped for—much appreciated! The vehicle was charged to 82% at pickup, even though I didn’t specifically request it.nnThe staff were polite and welcoming throughout the process. Overall, a smooth and satisfying rental experience.
We rented a BMW 3 Series at Sixt Melbourne Airport. The experience was really smooth with the staff being helpful and providing proper guidance and recommendation during pick up. The car condition was really good and clean. During the trip we never faced any issues with the ride. Finally to wrap it up, the drop off was easy and quick. Thanks to the staff to provide proper guidance for drop off location initially itself. A great experience overall and strongly recommended to everyone.
Excellent and warm staff. There was zero wait time and the pickup process was equally quick. Didn't expect to receive a newer car than what we rented online. 5 stars!
Hired a car from Melbourne airport and had to wait 45 mins. Arrived absolutely filthy. Asked if we could have another car and told the wait would be another hour. The attendant told me 'no worries just email our customer service team and they will help you out.' They responded with sorry, we'll have to review. Absolutely disgraceful for a company. Avoid like the plague.nnEDIT - They reach out under bad reviews and say please contact us and we will sort it out. Then absolutely no effort to get onto it right away. I am telling you do not deal with this company, so many other bad posts about them now that I've read into it. SO dodgy.nnEdit 2 - I reached out and emailed the address given and didn't hear a word from them. They don't care. They just like the appearance of caring.
Made the booking online. Service at counter very efficient then we waited for car to arrive . We watched 3 other customers go in & drive away and our car still hadnt arrived. After a good 15-20 minutes staff member followed up on vehicle, which was then replaced with another & new contract provided. The replacement vehicle had considerable panel & paint damage, of which only 2 photos were in contract but there was further paint scrapes which we had photos of. It was also very dirty inside. Hadn't been vacuumed or interior wiped over. Looked like soft drink had beed sprayed over front dash & down doors. Locating the return area at the Airport was very easy. Staff member took photos all around the vehicle & took keys.
