We recently hired a car from Sixt at Maroochydore Airport and we absolutely have nothing but praise for the staff welcoming, friendly, professional, nothing is a problem attitude and the impeccable service we received both at the time of pickup and upon return.nThe car we had pre-booked online wasn't available when we arrived KIA Cerato so they upgraded us to a BMW for no extra cost.nThe staff even walked us to our car and helped load our bags.nThe car was far more than we expected for a rental and performed flawlessly.nWe returned the car at the absolute last minute for the return window, by accident, but we were not charged any late fees, and once again received that impeccable service we had encountered at pickup.nWe would absolutely use Sixt again next time we are up that way and can highly recommend them to everyone.
I rented the BYD Atto EV for our trip to Sandstone Point, and it was a fantastic experience. The vehicle was impressive, so much so that I'm considering purchasing one myself. The staff at Maroochydore Airport's Sixt team were friendly, and the entire transaction was smooth. The car was clean and efficient, making our journey enjoyable. I'll definitely choose them again in the future.
We thought we’d be fancy and rent a BMW 3 series for our trip. When we got the car, it was covered in SIXT stickers which looked ridiculous. We also copped so many negative comments about it whilst driving around SE QLD which was a shame.nnThe BMW was also full of different rattles and a greasy steering wheel which was disgusting.nnWhen I returned the car, they tried to charge me for a scuff on the exterior. Thankfully I had ultimate protection so it was covered, and this is a great addition, I just wish could’ve lead with that in their first email instead of telling me twice that I’m responsible for the cost, and then telling me I’m not.nnWith all of that aside, the team was fast to respond to my emails and they also handed the keys over to the vehicle quickly, I think they just need better systems and processes for claims etc.
Such a helpful positive experience with SIXT on the Sunshine Coast! Our flight was delayed and we ended up getting there late but James was so accommodating and hired us a car at an extremely good rate. With such great customer service I would not hesitate to use SIXT again- thank you- you made our trip!
As a start, I received a pre arrival email checking on my reservation. Then on arrival, early, the car was ready anyway and the SIXT team member explained everything really well. He was helpful and friendly. He then went over & above to explain extra detail such as an in-car briefing as it was an Electric with quite unique controls, menu options etc and details such as charging, drop off location details etc. Definitely, he went over and above. Thanks SIXT.
