Love using SIXT Car Rentals. The APP makes it easy to book and/or modify if needed. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Super-efficient at pick-up with easy after hours drop-off. Love it when things in life are easy.
As regular SIXT customers all over the country, we are always impressed with the quality of their service and the vehicles. Marcoola branch is a standout, the staff are always so helpful and go above and beyond. Special shoutout to Mark and Michelle from the Marcoola branch!
Service was quick and friendly when I picked up the vehicle, and just as good on return of the vehicle. Very easy to deal with and an easy process.
I had a rental car for a week, before return I filled the vehicle up with petrol and later saw my bond was returned $100 less because of a fuel charge, I received no invoice or email and only noticed because I stumbled upon it in my bank transactions. I called them and waited on hold for a very long time, to have someone say they would contact the store to check and then I got hung up in with no call back despite them having my contact details. I see in the reviews others have had the same experience. Sneaky company.
Hired a truck for 2 days from this Depot, I filled the truck up 2.1 km away at 7-eleven Marcoola so it was full when I returned it. I later found a charge on my card for $60 which I was then told that the fuel tank was not full on return. Have proof of fuel purchase and they can see time of return for truck. Do not appreciate being charged for fuel after filling and lack of communication to let me know they were charging this.nWould not recommend to friends and family.nnUpdate going on 4 months- just received a letter of demand in the mail for the invoice for hire the day the payment is due.. the money was originally deducted from my account the day of return 30/12/2023, I then requested a $60 refund for the fuel which they said yes to. They then cancelled the original payment they had taken and did not proceed to take the new amount transaction, they did not email or call to tell us we now have to make the payment ourselves. To then we have just received this on behalf of sixt from a third party company for the wrong amount.n100% biggest stuff around and will not go with them again. Go with another company
