Story

Founded by Erik Ruelin and Fiorella Denari in late 2012, Sipping Duck is a small batch coffee roastery that believes in simplicity and quality.
We approach coffee from an artistic and entertaining point of view, always aiming for a professional and flavour-full experience. With 20 years of combined knowledge in the café industry, we want to help you make a beautiful cup of coffee every time. We would be more than happy to answer any questions regarding making coffee, use and maintenance of equipment, extraction techniques and current trends. We can also tell you about the origins and characteristics of what we have sourced.
Our goal is to have a personal interaction with our customers, so please feel free to ask for advise on everything coffee.

The best choc walnut banana bread I've tasted! ... along with fantastic coffee.  I'm coming back!

Coffee is always pretty good, but despite it not being overly busy, with 3 staff, 15 minutes to make 2 warm takeaway coffees is just too long. Sorry.

I visited the shipping duck cafe for a cup of coffee art that wanted to drink, but I was totally disappointed that they said that there are no people to make the iconic duck latte art at the Stratford store! °°_°° but coffee taste was great ! I bought some souvenir coffee bags and it was nice taste too

Meh. Customer service at the door was poor, so we left. Look: if you want to keep the door closed, ask nicely. It’s your thousandth time telling customers to shut your door, but it’s our first time to have you gripe at us. Fail.

Out of the way...but worth the effort...best coffee in town by far!

Friendly staff, nice place

I ordered a Piccolo coffee and was transported straight to heaven, only to be brought back down to earth so I could go back for more. Its a tough call for me to give 5 , but Sipping Duck is more than worthy of them. Visit today, visit everyday, in fact drive out of your way to visit, it's that good. Coffee Snob approved!
