Purchased ghostbuster backpacks that we needed quickly for a specific performance date. We contacted Singapore Charlie to enquire on express shipping and they replied even though it was a public holiday to let us know they would process ASAP for us. They contacted us the next morning to confirm it was all sent and in a way to make sure we would receive on time. They were perfect for our costumes, and the customer service was impeccable. Will definitely order from again for any of our costume needs!!
We were looking for a last minute Halloween costume and found this fancy dress shop online. Sadly it said on google that it closes at 6pm but we rang just to check if it would be open later on Halloween. The lady on the phone was so nice and friendly and assured us that we should definitely still come as it would be staffed until 6:30pm today and yesterday they actually stayed open until 7pm. We therefore went out of our way to get to the shop as fast as we could and reached there at 6:10pm.nnSadly on arrival it looked very much closed despite what they had told us. We managed to knock on a side door and a lady in a clown costume opened it and said firmly that they were closed. I explained that we’d rang and been told it would be open but she gave no sympathy to this and told us “the tills are closed and we’re already drinking”. That’s lovely for some but now we have no Halloween outfits because we chose this shop over others after they said they’d be open.nnWe were very excited to pick up some stuff after how lovely and enthusiastic the phone lady was, so it was quite shocking to be met with such a blunt and rude attitude at the store itself.nnAnyway, I’m sure it’s nice to go to within opening hours but I just wouldn’t trust what they say on the phone if they tell you they’re going to stay open later.nnHappy Halloween!
Bought two Vegemite aprons for our Danish visitors who think Vegemite tastes terrible. They really appreciated the joke and said they will wear their aprons in Denmark so they can talk about their visit to Australia.
Purchased 2 x costumes today, with so many different options in store, it was hard to choose. The service I was given was outstanding, the lovely lady was so helpful, went above and beyond to assist, an absolute credit to your store!
Absolutely the very best customer service!nI’ve always been warmly welcomed very promptly after entering the store.nThe lady I had yesterday was phenomenal.nShe walked me over to where I needed to be.nI was able to try on the costume before buying which made me feel very confident in my purchase.nNo pushy sales stuff either!nWhilst checking out closer to closing time, two previous customers had left something behind, and this amazing woman RAN it out to the customers cars, and just caught them both in time!n10/10, would recommend!
