Very highly recommended. Huge selection of Asian meals from multiple cuisines. Probably one of the best in the general area if you aren't aiming for a particular cuisine. Can get pretty busy, especially the takeaways. If they don't answer the phone, wait a minute and try again... Parking on main street is usually not available. Dont be the goose that parks at the bus stop.... Heaps of parking at rear of premises you just have to battle the staircase.
We have been quite regular visitors to SINGS COORPAROO since it opened some 14 years ago. We have dropped in for dinner, had takeaway and gone there with friends. It is always a lovely experience in a casual environment with such a huge range of quality fresh and tasty food at reasonable prices for all dietary requirements. The most difficult part is selecting meals from such an extensive menu. The owner is caring and a delight. The staff members are pleasant and accommodating. One of the staff members, the lovely Sarah, even remembers not just our previous orders, but also our special requests. We love going to SINGS.
Many of their vegetarian dishes can be turned vegan. Just make sure to clarify you want it Vegan. Their customer service was top notch. Very friendly staff. Vegetarian options: Has two pages full of vegetarian options Dietary restrictions: Heaps of Vegan options. I tried the Vegan Satay skewers and the Vegan Green Curry
I was here for dinner with a friend. As we went late the restaurant was empty. The food tasted fantastic! The hospitality was average. Overall still a good night.
I really like this place and I’ve been a regular customer for ages. Good and consistent quality in dishes and lots of choice for vegetarians. BUT it’s such a shame that a VAPE shop has opened next door : This totally ruins and cheapens the street ambience and experience for me.
We are regulars at Sing's. Always good value and great food. Extensive menu to enable trying something new. Prices very reasonable.
Update: I discovered what the problem was - MSG, far FAR to much MSG. I have eaten MSG hundreds, maybe thousands of times in the last 4 decades but nothing like this. I don't know if it was just this occasion or they always put that much MSG in the food but it was way too much. --------------------------------------------------- This is basically a seafood only restaurant. If you are vegan, do not eat here. Two nights ago I had chicken, rubbery. Tonight I got just satay vegetables, and was left with a NASTY burning fishy taste. The veges were nicely done and the indoor seating looks nice, but avoid if you don't want your food cooked in a pan that has cooked seafood. Update: It's now 9 hours later and the nasty burning fishy taste is still there accompanied with a ringing in the head. After brushing my teeth and tongue, gargling with listermint and another mouthwash, butter menthol, cough syrup, food, it's still there and quite disturbing. 5 STAR WARNING!! If you are a decent Muslim or Christian or just want decent food, DO NOT EAT HERE!! I cannot say if this is just one meal that was poisoned or how long this has been happening but I warn all decent people not to eat here!! 15-April-2022.
My 1st visit was pick up. Very quick, 10mins on a busy Sat night. Good value, wontons & the chefs recommendation of peppercorn duck for $30 & rice is included rather than having to buy separately. I'll be back.Food: 5/5
