I placed an order for takeaway and got samosas, goat biryani, lamb dosa, and chili garlic noodles. Unfortunately, all the food was terrible. The samosas were bland and tasteless except for a strong fennel flavor. The goat biryani had only 4-5 tiny pieces of meat and was mostly rice with a half-boiled egg. It was definitely not worth $21.99—I've had much better biryani at Guneet’s. The dosa was also disappointing, though I'd rather not comment further. I didn’t even try the noodles because they had an unappetizing smell. I've had good experiences at this place in the past, but something has changed, and I can't recommend it now. Maybe dining in would be better, but I wouldn't suggest takeaway.
Food was satisfactory but tea was exceptionally good. We ordered Cauliflower 65 Biryani & Masala Dosa. Although I felt dosa was bit bland & garlic dip was too vinegary.nThe service was top-notch !!
I've missed the taste of Simply Indian ever since they closed in Preston. So while I was passing through Melton I simply had to stop by to try them.nnI ordered the Pani Puri for starters. Just wonderful! The Paneer Dosa was fresh and delicious, just as I remember it.nnThe staff were attentive and helpful. The whole meal was well worth the visit.
Wifey and I had an amazing experience dining at Simply Indian this afternoon.nWe were greeted by polite wait staff who attentively took our order, Food arrived within 15 minutes and it was presented well.nnBoth wait staff serving us had immaculate manners and ensured that the food was to our liking which was great to experience.nnDelicious foodand even better service.n10/10 stars for staff.nnWe will be back soon.
So I love Indian Food, but I much prefer a Butter Chicken that has some sweetness to it and this was way too tomato flavoured for me.nThe chicken pieces within it was good, just the flavour not quite right for me.nWe also had Kerala Thenga Kari, the prawns were well cooked and not overdone tossed just right, but again the flavour was just not for me.nIf you don’t like the sweetness I like, then you might like it here, but I was a bit disappointed. I did takeaway, and it was a clean restaurant with welcoming staff and quick service.
