Small lounge located in Perth Airport exclusively for passengers flying on SQ. Lounge looks dated and in desperate need for refurbishment. Buffet spread was decent but could be further improved no fruits, light bites or bread. Lack of shower rooms and toilets only 1 male and 1 female toilet in lounge.
Located next to Gate 54 at Perth’s International Terminal, this is one of least impressive Silver Kris Lounge we have ever been to next to the one at Kuala Lumpur. Opened in 2006, it looks dated and in need of a serious refurbishment to look like it’s other cousins around the world. Service though remains good and selection, still recommended
As a local Perth sandgroper who had the privilege to fly various airlines from Perth overseas over the years, I found the SIA Silverkris Lounge in Perth international airport is a great one in comparison with the other options. If you can manage your expectation that Perth is still a ‘relatively’ small city and not a major hub such as Sydney, Singapore or Dubai, for SIA to have its own lounge that’s dedicated to only 3 daily flights currently is a commendable customer services to passengers in Perth. Compared that to them having only a partner lounge access only at a much bigger hub such as Kuala Lumpur with much more SIA flights daily. We enjoyed their barista service offering freshly brewed mocha for me, & hot choc for my kids. The food selection is modest but decent & delicious, as is the drinks choice. Of note is their exceptional customer services, from the front counter gentleman to all the floor staff and barista on the morning of 28/1/23. Even though they only have a bathroom as reflected by their modest size, it was readily available during our stay. A very pleasant retreat before boarding right outside gate 54 for our SIA flight to Singapore.
Rather simple kris lounge. Lots of liquor to choose from food is decent. Very friendly, welcoming staff
Well, what a disappointment this lounge is. This is the first time we have flown Singapore airlines business class, and if their lounge at Perth is anything to go by its pretty disappointing. In fact its the business class lounge I have ever been in. Now I appreciate they don’t fly an A380 out of Perth like Emirates do, and so the lounge will cater for far less people, but that does not excuse it at all. Everyone here has paid a lot of money for their ticket, and so deserve a better offering than this. Its a square room, with rows of square, upright bucket seats. I’ve been in bus depots with more comfortable seating, and a better feeling. The food tastes OK, but the offering is very limited. As for the so-called deserts, well I think I will skip commenting on that. The drinks range is OK, well it is if you want alcohol of Coke. Absolutely no alcohol free beer or wine, which given how popular that is becoming now in the UK, USA and Australia, its not good enough. The only soft drinks are Coke or diet coke, no lemonade, orange, ginger beer etc. Unless the flights back to the UK, and the lounge in Singapore is way way better, this will be the one and only time we fly Singapore business. It will be back to Emirates, as they clearly value their customers more. Oh, and I forgot, no shower, and only a single WC for males and females. Pathetic.
Small and decent lounge. Very limited food available as well.
A rather small and drab lounge which can get quite busy. Staff are great, food/drink options are decent. Needs expansion and refurbishment. The overhead lights are very hot so choose your seat wisely. The best thing I can say about this lounge is that it’s better than sitting at the gate. If travelling on a business class ticket or with the right Star Alliance status, you can also access the superior Air New Zealand lounge if it’s open. Do that instead.
A very small lounge so it felt quite cramped. There was some light food available and drinks to pour yourself. Better than nothing though and the staff were lovely, particularly the man at the desk.
Not contemporary for a modern airline lounge. No bottled water or whole fresh fruit. But we have two baristas on staff. Glasses for filtered water stored open facing up rather than upside down. Have we learned nothing from two years of covid? Very limited choices of snacks and most easily contaminated by careless guests.
its pretty small, but staff working here are very hospitable and friendly, and no grumpy faces at all. food and drinks are pretty good, and with a decent range.
