There isn't a different place I would rather be taught than Silkstone. Teachers are fun but disciplinary, the work is challenging but rewarding when finished and teachers let you borrow sport equipment to make your own games. me and my friends would take the cricket bats and a couple of tennis balls to make a hybrid of tennis and cricket, we didn't know what we were doing but it was fun. So in short if you want your kids to fell welcome, educated and have fun take them here. You won't regret it.
Love the school all the teachers r friendly from prep to yr 6 an the headmaster is also friendly. My 6 yr old boy loves it he's in yr 1. My youngest is going to b at the school next yr in prep. Its the oldest school in Ipswich. I like the mono honor before honours. 100/100.
I am in Bremer State High School now so I feel as though i had to tell you what I thought about this school, it was amazing, there was nice faculty a computer lab, a relatively well stacked library, a senior oval, a junior oval, a prep oval, a music room and a hall for major school events like musicals or assemblies. The best yet most simple school to go with.
Christian Values - Would highly recommend. Love the variety of extra curricular activities, the values of the school and the initiatives they implement at the school.
Great school. Both my kids go there and have never had a problem with the teaching staff.
