Warning: unimpressed Jafa's review below. Ok, lesson nearned once again: don't trust ratings of regional Asian restaurants as most come from predominantly white kiwi locals who are seemingly more than happy to be ripped off and possibly can't tell what an authentic Thai cuisine should look like. I guess folks here have smaller mortgages so being taken for a ride is not a biggie. Green curry watery and mostly filled with veggies big cold chunks, let uncle Roger see I dare you, $27.90, tiny portions of rice, beef salad ok but not really authentic $25.9, plus cold salad leaves on top. But hey, if you want more rice it's just $4.50! Nice ambience though. PS: For all you locals, give any Auckland Thai restaurant a go, far better flavour, bigger portion and price wise you'll break even with the fuel to travel there and back.
they forgot our drinks but they were very busy, food was very yummy lots of flavour and huge portions, they even saw us struggling to finish and brought over a take away container for us. All the staff were very friendly
Great place to eat. Food is well priced. Service is excellent and I would recommend making a booking as they always have quite a full restaurant owing to the excellent food, warm welcome and friendly, helpful waiters. Recommend them highly if you are a lover of Thai cuisine. Vegetarian options: Just about all meals have a vegetarian option. Awesome menu. Parking: Tons of street parking in the main road, and at the cricket oval/domain.
We had a brilliant evening out in the courtyard. Music and lighting was great. Food portions were big, and absolutely delicious! Highly recommended!Food: 5/5
We booked and were happy we did as it was very full. Wonderful servce and friendly staff. Reasonably priced food arrived quickly and was delicious. The mains were very large, I would recommend smaller eaters share a main. They were happy to offer a doggie bag .The interior was tastefully decorated and there was seating outdoors. Would highly recmmend this restaurant
Best crispy pork fried rice I’ve had anywhere. Food is always amazing.
Decent environment but the food was not anything near AUTHENTIC and also very EXPENSIVE. We came here when we visited cambride. The dishes we ordered was the Satay chicken, Chicken wings, prawn spring rolls, Tom yummain size, Beef Salad, Taramind duck, Pad Thai and the Hor Mok Talay. The satay chicken was very dissapointing as it is one of my favourite dishes it was way too sweet and the penuts where very hard and were a bit hard to bite. The chicken wings were over cooked and were dry but the prawn spring rolls were the better one out of our 3 entrees. After our entrees, came the mains; Tom Yum prawn was also very sweet and thick which made it taste unpleasent. The Beef salad was decent but was missing a little bit of citris taste. The Taramind duck was again sweet but it was a lot better than some of our other mains. The Hor Mok Talay was very weird it was served in a ball of tin foil so we had to open it our selves which was very hard as it was on a hot dish and the food inside was very hot the fish inside crumbled up and was very hard to pick up and also the vegtables inside were overcooked and basically became mush. The Pad thai was definently the best dish out of our dinner but it had way to many penuts and also it had alot of whole penuts. also rice protions were tiny. and getting extra rice was around $4. Overall it was a very mid experiance but the waiters were nice and made us feel welcomed but the food was dissapointing and could have been alot better.
Great place, easy to get to fantastic food, awesome service. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
Excellent meal this evening. Really enjoyed the food and would definitely return when next in Cambridge.
The place was packed for a Tuesday night. As a solo diner they looked after me, making me feel comfortable. I ordered the mixed starter....omg delis...then had Red curry for main ....so full I had to get my dessert to takeaway. Will visit again
