On vacation at Port stephens. Dined At Sienna's, good friendly staffs and deliciously well presented food. Downside, my daughter's chicken schnitzel was a little dry. The one person I need to please wasn't pleased. But otherwise, worth checking if you're in town.
Too long don’t wanna read: Food: 8 Service: 10 rating out of 10: 8.5 Restaurant: 9 Should I go out of my way to eat here?: yes the full review / If you want something to eat and this place is near, definitely go out of your way to eat here, the calamari and prawns were very tasty and the bolognese was pretty nice, the snickers cake was amazing I recommend getting it. The actually restaurant is very nice and chill with the music being not too loud but not too quiet either, the service was very good and all of the people working there are very kind and funny.
Dinner took 1 hour to come out. Ordered the sirloin steak and it was super tough when I asked for medium rare. The rest of the food was fine.
Nice enough in flavour bacon amazing, mushroom a bit light on but disappointing for main meal size and value considering this is made from a dried pasta. Pizza cappricosa very very good just shy of amazing but 12" size again just slightly too small. 10/10 for fast delivery and arriving hot with great service. Was very tasty we fought about the last morsels and am upset theres nothing to go in the fridge to eat cold in the wee morning, hence the review.
Below average food apart from the pizza. Also took 1hr+ for the food to come as well. Although the staff were friendly I wouldn’t recommend going if you are travelling and looking for quality nice food.
We walked in with no booking on Friday night and were given a table straight away. We ordered pizza and salad to share which were on the table in 10 minutes. Both were delicious! All the staff were really friendly and professional. It had a good vibe. O and we loved the artwork. Loved all of them
My wife and I visited Sienna's one night during our recent babymoon in Nelson Bay. We chose Sienna based on having highest reviews of the neighbouring restaurants. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. The food was bland and under seasoned. I had to put a fair bit of salt, pepper, and cheese, on my Bolognese to give it a bit more flavour. Meanwhile my poor wife ordered the spaghetti Neapolitan with the seafood and crab. Unfortunately they instead delivered a white-wine and cream based sauce which, with the crab, isn't even an actual item on their menu, and when asked if it was possible to change it for what we ordered we were told that it was, in fact, the last crab in the whole restaurant... Additionally, we heard every single table in the restaurant receive "sorry about the wait" comments from the waitresses noting that the restaurant was less than 1/3 full, and our neighbouring table had some serious complaints regarding the quality of the salad they received. Overall, especially given how expensive the food is, the quality, service, and taste of the food was sub-standard and frankly the whole experience was disappointing. I won't be returning, and I would recommend giving somewhere else nearby a shot instead.
Service staff was attentive, food is generally good, family of 4, pasta was our mains, slightly bland for my speghetti marinara , but other dishes were tasty. My daughter dish was the last to come out and most of us had finish our meals by that time, took a long time and the restaurant wasn’t that busy.
DELICIOUS FOOD + BYO The service was amazing and the waitress was super bubbly and very lovely! We had a Capricciosa pizza and Gnocchi Napolitana. Now, the pizza was super cheesy and yummy and definitely filling. The gnocchi were like super thick and chewy in a good way and also super delicious. We were so full I couldn't even handle a tiramisu! I'll need to go again!!! Definitely recommend the place!!
The service was terrible. I had to wait for more than half an hour after I ordered two dishes. After the waiter placed the order by hand, he did not enter the order into the computer, so the kitchen never came out. No food was served and no waiter came to inquire. I even saw a waitress with food in her mouth when she was serving. I have reason to suspect that she even ate the customer's food. It was such a disgusting experience that I will never go back to it again
