5 stars for the bands, but the venue isn't the best for rock concerts. Or maybe more so, the management is not the best.nnSeats in the bowl are comfy with lots of leg room.nEveryone stands up, though, as soon as the band starts, so you'll rarely get to sit. The issue here is not having to stand, but that the stairs aren't kept cleared, so if you have an aisle seat, your view ends up blocked by people coming down and staying on the steps.nSound at a recent concert was a bit distorted at times, which is odd considering the shell is designed to be acoustically correct.
Great venue. Flew in from Sydney, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but we all had an amazing time.nnViews from the lawn were really great, and the crowd was nice and friendly.nnI'll be back!

A well laid out outdoor venue. A great place to hold the Christmas carols. Depending on the weather, I would suggest purchasing tickets in the first 15 rows to avoid getting rained on. Otherwise a great view from any seat or on the lawn.
Unique venue in Melbourne which is perfect for a summer’s day concert. Acoustics and views can be variable, but overall have seen some quality bands play here.
