I love the spicy tofu with green onion. An excellent option for vegetarians, and it's spicy. Most of the items are splattered with their spicy chilly hot oil, and there are no complaints. The price is very comfortable. Great options if you want to try something different. Inside is cozy as well, and nice atmosphere.
I've ordered from Szechuan many of times during the last couple of years, and the food was always amazing. Last week I finally got to go into the restaurant and my gosh it is so cute! And the food is delicious as always. The portion sizes are usually big so I went with a very hungry tummy. And I wasn't disappointed. Highly recommend the spinach noodles.
The size of the bowl for the price was well worth it. The broth was delicious and full of flavour! I got the machine-made noodles with beef and I literally left nothing in the bowl. I gave it three stars for atmosphere but I don’t mean that in a bad way - it’s not the kind of place I go to looking for some amazing atmosphere. It’s just no frills delicious food plain and simple. Really look forward to trying other dishes!
I am flabbergasted and obsessed with this place. I feel like I’ve uncovered a hidden gem that I need to share with everyone. 10.99 for a massive bowl of spicy beef sliced noodle soup. The staff is really lovely, their service and ambience makes the food taste even better. I could eat at this place forever. The manager saw me struggling to put my soup in a takeout container and she came over and did it for me without me even asking… just wow. I’ve never experienced service this amicable anywhere. There were only two people working front of house with around 4-5 tables of 4 people + constant Uber Eats orders and they both absolutely killed it. So so so happy with this place. If you prefer a good amount of protein in your soup, then I would suggest asking for extra. Trust me, they do not hold back P.S: The picture of the takeout container is after I finished half of the bowl.
The atmosphere is very nice and comfortable. You can sit down for a nice family dinner and not feel cramped. Service is very good also. I do feel they need to give a bit more food with each order. We ordered three dishes for two people and were left a bit hungry.
Tasty beef brisket handmade or cut noodles are a flavour bomb! You can make your broth as spicy as you like. The portions are a good size and a bowl of noodles will suffice without ordering extras. The staff are friendly and the service is fairly quick. The whole family enjoys the food here! Whenever we are near Hamilton, we head here for lunch or dinner.
Really good meal at SNB. They do their carbs really well- the noodles and even the dumpling skin is springy! The was absolutely lovely with a light garlicky beef broth. We ordered the large bowl and it was more like a huge pot of noodles definitely for sharing. The seaweed salad was a good appetizer with a tangy light spiciness to it. The cumin cauliflower was another hit with us. Not too much of a fan of the because it’s mostly bones and a bit on the salty side. We enjoyed everything else!
Good atmosphere and tasty food! The hand noodles felt authentic and were great. Not particularly vegetarian friendly, definitely let them know for all dishes if you have any preferences! Ordered the mapo tofu and but it came with a minced meat on top so I was unable to enjoy it, but im sure it would have tasted good. Service was quick and staff was friendly
Ordered: Special Hand-Made Spinach Noodle beef, Spicy Deep Fried Potato, Braised Egg Plant, Kung Pao Chicken Food tasted great! The atmosphere was clean and nice!
Had an amazing experience here last night! Friendly server who, might I add, was busting her butt to cover takeout and all the tables at once and excellent food. We tried the dry noodles with beef, the homemade noodle soup with beef and the dumplings, all of which were amazing. The portions for the price are also very generous. We left feeling full and very happy! I will definitely be making this a regular stop whenever I visit the city.
